Blame me. I watched the first episode b/c of the great reviews and I was just bored bored bored. I thought it tried way too hard to be clever and innovative. If I can see the effort, then it isn't working.

But then again, I'm really looking forward to The Next Joe Millionaire premiere tonight, so what do I know?

The first episode seemed promising but I have not watched it since. For me, the reason is that I have moved on from the network drama series. I never even think about them. It was a fluke that I even caught the premiere. The last network drama I watched regularly was ER when George Clooney was still on it.

I must not be their target demographic. Sorry, e/o.

I thought it was pretty well accepted that Jamie Lee Curtis has Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, or AIS. If she did in fact have AIS, she would be genetically male and (outwardly) phenotypically female, with a vagina but no uterus or ovaries (and no penis either). Women with androgen insensitivity syndrome are usually slender, with narrow hips and large breasts, well-defined facial features and clear, smooth skin.

This is a very stupid article. Vanilla Ice "trashed" the MTV set in jest, with gleeful help from Chris Kattan and the others. It was all done in good humor in the spirit of the show -- the 25 Worst Videos of All Time. I'm sure that I am mainly correct in this. That said, I'll probably end up watching this fucking thing.

More reality TV thoughts: I am openly rooting for the Morgan tribe at this point, mostly because I hate Johnny Fairplay so much, and Morgan is such an underdog. I was glad to see the hot-mortician beat up the not-hot Sandra. Contrary to what a prior post stated, Sandra did not lose the competition for Drake because she was unable to eat the sardine -- she lost because she was slower than Darrah. And yes, Michelle is an idiot who has noone to blame but herself.

Uh no. Did you see that show? They were all terrified when he started swinging the bat around. Jennine Garafolo has since been interviewed on the topic saying that none of them had any idea he was going to freak like that. Of course, hindsight being what it is, they seem to agree that it was not a good idea to ask the guy to destroy his only hit video with a bat during a lamest videos ever show. But he was ballistic.

I didn't say she'd admitted it.

Edited to add: the Snopes article also deals only with intersexuality, not AIS. If I'm remembering right (I can check if you want), AIS girls' outward appearance gives no indication that their genetic makeup doesn't match the outward appearance. Most don't discover the AIS until they don't start menstruating at the usual age.
