FYI, real lederhosen aint cheap.
I think the pertinent issues here are (a) are they lined and (b) will "water" stains be evident?

They got old. Unlike you and Coltrane though, I think Teri has aged well. Not so Nicolette.

They are both still better-looking than 90% of the non-starlet population. I'd do them. If I did women.

Nicolette's character seems like she'd be more fun than Teri's character.

I don't drive too much and got to thinking "Fuck, that would be a fun car to have, and I wouldn't put too many miles on it..." I got to drinking with a buddy later that night and told him about the car and he said "Why wouldn't you buy it?" I said "You'd look absurd." He told me I was a chickenshit. Now, of course, I won't be buying the car for a variety of practical reasons, but it led to me to think "Why not?" I mean, really, if you could grab a nice ride like that, why not get it? Or does a used Bentley say the same thing as a used Porsche/Ferrari (i.e., overcompensating)?

It is really a gorgeous car.
Who the hell cares what it says? If you like it, buy it.

Good point. Nice underwear, too. But she has no house. And I've always liked Terri.

Actually, I thought that both of them have aged pretty well. Nicolette was prejudiced by the fact that we are supposed to look at her character and think that she is too old to wear what she does.

If it's KITT the talking car, definitely buy it.

Teri is 40. Many women who were beautiful at 30 are still hot at 40.* She's not one of them.

*Diane Lane, Monica Bellucci, etc.

A couple of years ago I read (I think in Money magazine, of all places) an article that extoled the virtues of picking up a used exotic rather than dropping $35k for yet another generic SUV. I think the author specifically mentioned old Rolls and Maseratis. I've been thinking about it ever since.

The question is whether the Bentley is "used" or "classic." An '88 911 is used; a '68 is a classic. I wouldn't consider the owner of the latter to be overcompensating. Only you can decide whether it's the first or the second. Would you be buying it because it's a really nice car, or because it's a Bentley? If it's because it's a Bentley, walk on by.

And as a second data point, the St. Arnold's guy (I think his name is Brock?) is a prick, but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the car.

That's like the 15th time I've heard this. I sat on a committee with him earlier this year. He gave a lot of beer to the cause we were working for, which put him in the "non-prick" category for the time being, but he wasn't particularly helpful for the rest of the committee work. It was clear that he uses the time honored "throw beer at the problem and people will like me" method of hiding his prick-ness.

He does make good beer, though.

Wasn't Brock the name of the Real World guy in "She's All That"? It seems like an asshole name.

Teri Hatcher:

She looks good here and I've heard that her tits are real and spectacular. However, I saw that Baldwin flick where she's nude and I can tell you that they are real and decidedly unspectacular. If you photo google "teri hatcher," the first image will confirm this. And that photo was taken years and years ago. (Hell, maybe she had some work recently -- hopefully).

Nicollette Sheridan:

She is the same age as Monica Bellucci? I sort of agree with you then. I thought Diane Lane was only 37-38 or something. To me, she looks old for that.
