There is a good chance I will meet Penske in about 2 weeks time. If it turns out I am just a sock, I will try to get word out before he deactivates me:confused:

I've met Penske. I've also met you. Your fears are not completely unfounded.

If I got a fiat I'd be more tempted to lease again instead of buying.

A couple years back when the Fiats first came out, the guy at the car rental counter offered me the chance to "upgrade" to one. Not remembering WTF the new Fiats were, I said, sure.

Which led to a couple weekdays observing the plastic-y interior, clown car dimensions, and the inevitable ask from the client CEO to give him a lift to the meeting, whereupon he laughs at my car choice for the rest of the trip. Haven't been so disappointed with a travel experience since my last lunch date with Flinty.

She's getting a chick car. She's not going to need it for displays of masculinity.

Let's revisit the original question:

Yep, I'm ruling Gatti's post in order and responsive.

Brains over brawn, that might work for you.

I am not really a fan of goonery or thuggishness* standing alone, but I do like it when someone smacks Brad Marchand.

Carry on.

*Or of the Bruins or Blackhawks, for that matter.

See, I'd take Muggs to the authentic joints because that guy knows how to eat and has no regards to possible gastric consequences. With you, I figure I should only go a smidge past Applebees, lest I upset your gentle stomach because someone waved a jalepeno near the sauce.

A few weeks ago I went to LA for a mediation, met my client at the airport and got our rental car. And they gave me a freaking Camaro. Most of our conversation during the ride -- what we could say over the roar of the engine, anyway -- was about how I usually don't get muscle cars at Hertz.

Sadly, we could not find "Eye of the Tiger" on the radio.

I think you're being way too gentle with him. I've personally seen him put down a pound of pastrami and a matzo ball the size of a bowling ball, with plenty of horseradish mustard. The boy can nosh.

Say what you will, it's a wild ride. A BMW or a Mercedes sport coupe may be about grace under pressure. American muscle cars are built for long, straight roads through flat country with nobody else on the road for miles.

Eye of the Tiger, indeed. Fuckin' ponce.

According to wikipedia, there are around 47,000 TSA screeners. Do you think it's possible to hire 47,000 competent anything, especially at the wages they pay?
