Isn't it obvious by now that being the biggest asshole in a Republican primary guarantees you a certain percentage of the vote? While I don't think he will actually win, I suspect he will be among the last three standing.

I suspect he may draw as much support as he loses on the McCain attack. Remember, the folks who bolt from him because of this will be divided among fourteen other candidates, while the occasional hell-ya McCain hater he attracts will be all his.

Well, that explains why the missus, Wanda, and Big Edna* kept laughing as a series of women kept walking in (with optimistic looks) and leaving (looking perplexed and disappointed) the Dew Drop Inn the other night.

*Big Ed's wife, whose real name is Michelle, but Fenwick could never say it or hear it without adding "... my belle," so Wanda called her that one night, and it stuck.

Protest vote for those who wish Elizabeth Warren was running.

And I would call him more of the Rand Paul of the Dems than the Donald Trump - they both attract a certain ideological set that wishes for more "pure" policies.
