Commercials

Adding to the commercial discussion, I cannot stand the commercials for fear factor. I couldn't stand the commercials for the show they had on Fox for a while, what was it the update of Ripley's believe it or not?

I don't want to watch these shows, they disgust me. If you want to watch them that is fine, go ahead. But don't fucking force them on me while I am watching some other show by having a commercial with people eating worms or doing whatever they are doing.

This is probably why I should get a Tivo. Just so I can avoid these nasty commercials.

Good save, but that rationale still doesn't explain Slave's preternatural success with the womens. Maybe he knows the jedi mind trick?

I admit it - I have height requirements. I am pretty tall though and I guess it ties into some desire to be much smaller than the guy I'm with. That and I'm shallow.

As tall as I wanna be.

All I know is that I'm tall, and I sure didn't get a personalized picture on FB Breasticle Day...

Nor does it explain my ongoing abysmal failure in this arena, despite above-average height and stunning prettiness. I should be getting more play than Slave at a Paigow convention. <wink> Life ain't fair.

My wife is extremely tall (6') and comes from a family where many of the women are much taller than average. She also had a height requirement. I'm sure a lot of it stemmed from having been made to feel self-conscious about her height when she was growing up. Personally, I think it's kind of silly to feel that way, but, hey, works for me.

Here's a clue: go back and re-read the stuff you post here. You should it consider it a success if the ho' doesn't run screaming within 30 seconds of you opening your mouth.

The benefits of selling sandwiches at Dead and Phish shows (aka Paigow conventions) is you get plenty of tail. Those phreaky whirly-dancers get the munchies something fierce.

I forgot to mention, in response to the idea that short gay guys might get more play than short straight guys, that I have gay friends with height requirements. They are shallow too.

Sure, but on the positive side, every time normal people see you they just want to pick you up and give you a hug.

Holiday cheer (namaste? harambee?) to all at work. After just a couple of days of family and holiday cheer, I sort of miss work. Work is sort of a dull pain, but endurable. Maybe I just miss the throbbing.

Throbbing?!?! There's no throbbing at my job. Can I have your job? A little throbbing would be nice to break up the monotony of the day.

Maybe it's the screaming. You must be missing the screaming that you've learned to filter out.

I certainly am not missing work as I am here. HERE HOLDING DOWN THE FORT WHILE EVERYONE ELSE IS OUT SKIING.
Now, maybe I'll go shopping and get hammered for lunch. Might make it worth the commute.

That's so nice. But maybe there's a Jerry Springer marathon or something on that'll give you your daily sleaze quotient, yet still allow you to feign interest in your family?

Cead mil failte!

I have no way of knowing whether this is true or not but, in my heart, I always believed The Daintiest Petunia to be a nubile spinning hippie chick.
