 |  Left of Center, channel 26, is the college/indie station I listen to. Maybe my expectations are low because of the crappy commercial staions around here, but it does not seem formula-driven to me. Sure, they play White Stripes and The Killers, but they also play stuff I've never heard of before, like Dresden Dolls and, of course, Keane (kidding about that one, Flower).
 
Disorder 24 is the eclectic mish-mash that I have on most of the time. I don't think that that is the same station you mentioned, because they don't play hip-hop. My daughter says that the main hip-hop channel is pretty good, but she's a white suburban chick, so what does she know?

 |  I'm told that XM has a better signal -- I just happen to have Sirius because that's what I was given, and I kept it because I really liked the folk station that they used to have. That being said, I haven't had too many problems with signal strength -- I guess it depends on all sorts of local variables. |
