LawTalkers - Missing the Paigow (et al.) [sniff]

Man, was I impressed with Texas, they certainly deserved to win, and USC certainly deserved to lose. While everyone focuses on that 4th and 2, I really thought the (around 2:30 left?)2nd and 7 play in that series was where they really missed Norm Chow. They are trying to run out the clock here. They have been averaging a good 4 yards a carry, maybe more. The call is a screen to a role-playing fullback of some sort, which Lenart throws erratically, and the back-up fullback is unable to catch. Clock stops. Now, they've had some success with this play earlier, but this situation is different, and the prior screens had been to White or Bush or someone who can fucking catch. I thought this play was idiotic, given the situation--it kept roughly another 30 seconds from ticking off, and gave USC a 3rd and 7.

Thoughts?

So, my question for the expert meanies out there is, were such a thing to have occurred, would (the hypothetical) dtp's response have been (a) not mean enough, (b) too mean, or (c) just right?

Inquiring minds MUST know.
