Parse this through. Logically.

On another topic, is there even a semblance of comedy left to Bill Maher? Why do people still call him a comedian? It's just endless rants about anything Islamic, from a 14 year old kid on. The idea of "Bill Maher comedy" increasingly strikes me as kind of like the idea of "Fox News".

Also, I am finding myself contemplating the day when President Clinton appoints Obama as Chief Justice. I think that's about the only way to beat the joy of a Pope/Obama lovefest. Good times.

Bill Maher was never funny you just laughed when he was making fun of Republicans, now you see the truth. In re Stephen Colbert.

I'm working off of TM's references here. I can't say I've seen anything funny by him ever.

As to Stephen Colbert, you're not that brain dead, are you?

Can't Michelle do those?

Exactly. I think the initial "WTF is that?" was understandable, even required. I am in no position to say whether it was a bomb or a clock. From Facebook it appears Taxwonk is highly skilled and could have made the determination, but what if no one at the school had Taxwonk's tech skills? Wouldn't you want to have someone else look at it, and that would be someone who could determine what it was? Where it went overboard is arresting the kid, not questioning what the thing was.

I'm sorry for wonking. It just seems the me and my friends are so fucking popular I almost felt summonsed.

Wonk's technical skills aside, his reasoning skills tell him that when several stories say that nobody thought it was a bomb, that NOBODY THOUGHT IT WAS A BOMB.

And of course we know the Pope may well be the anti-Christ, so you've got to watch that one, too.

All of this reminds me how nice it is to no longer live in upstate NY where I grew up. Wonk, you need to take them all to a nice AME Zion church in the area so they can see what Christianity ought to look like.

I was going to on Sunday, but I got in a huge fight with my girlfriend instead, so we spent the day throwing jugs of shine at each other and eating okra.

what i wonder is if wonk actually knows this person. There are socks on FB you know.

She is an absolute idiot. But she is the best friend of the woman I love and unless you can do better than Erin, I suggest you all do what I do with her idiocy. I point out once or twice that she is being a bit of an ass, then I scroll on by. Erin means a lot to me. I'm willing to ignore some stupid twat in order to keep the peace under my own roof.

Now, if you all can't think of anything better to discuss than my circle of friends, please go back to discussing baseball or football or some other stupid shit so I can do what polite people do when someone is shooting off their mouth about something they know fuck-all about and ignore you.

That's likely worthy of a Sunday sojourn.

Look, we've moved on. I was hassling the wingers on TM's page yesterday.

Apropro of which, what are those people doing there? He posts a lot of politics, but really whomps the wingers when they appear pretty badly, so I conclude they are likely there because they're into S&M and getting a beat down turns them on.

It's as funny as any of those network late night shows. Well, except maybe the original Conan show (I've not watched him in years).
