PLF originated the whole concept of "boring."

Yes, but you've raised it to a whole new level.

Take credit when you deserve it.

Hey hey hey.

Berry was a veteran groom, marrying six times to four women.

Just goes to show you, that for every man, there are 4 women. Even fat guys.

A true semi-legend (o.k., not really). In my youth I enjoyed the hijinks of Dwayne, Raj, Rerun, Shirley and the gang. Who can forget his Emmy-deserving performance when he bootlegged the Doobie Brothers concert at his high school? Or when he joined the cult that worshipped a head of lettuce? And could he dance? Oh yes, he could dance...

Here's to ya, Rerun.

Deer loward,(c)(tm)(RT) that site BOULDERS!(c)(tm)(RT)

I would have hearted(c)(tm)(someone else) to have thought to do that back when I first got AIM(c)(tm)(the AOL(c)(tm) people). I used to get random people asking me for cybersex in those wild and crazy days of 1997, before I learned to delete all indication that I was female in my profile.

Word creation and Joe $$2

Thanks to the Urban Dictionary link, I learned that "assscarf" and "assbutt" are actual terms not coined by TM. However, "assfur" was not listed and might be an example of TMonics. Either that or Urban Dictionary is slow to add new terms.

I don't know how long I'll keep watching Joe $$2 (who am I kidding, I'm a junkie for those shows), but the soundtrack editor has a wicked musical sense of humor. As "Joe" was riding his horse up the driveway to meet the women, the background music was the Puccini aria "Nessum Dorma." It means "no one sleeps" and is sung after Turandot gives an order that no one can sleep until she finds out who Calaf is. Given that the girls had little sleep before they had to get up to meet "Joe" and the overall point of the show, I thought this selection was pretty funny.

Oh geez. I'm almost as bad as BRC laughing over obscure references in horror films.

P.S. For awhile I thought my friends invented "yada yada yada." I hadn't been watching Seinfeld and they were the only people I knew who said it.

Sorry, Fugee. You've been watching Fox, so erudite as it sounds, 80% of the above is misperception on your part.

I thought monosyllabic was one word, but who knows.

I have discovered that when people have photographs as their avatars, I truly think that they look like that. Even if I know for a fact they do not. You, of course, look like a 90-yr-old partner who is trying to conceal his age by using a photograph from college as his picture on the firm website. The advanced age may explain the leakiness.

Oh, and I forgot to take any meds today or the day before, but then I went to the dr also today and found out that wellbutrin now comes in a once-a-day formula. who knew.

The joke is that a client with an ethical compass suited for committing fraud would be foolish enough to reveal fraudulent omissions or misrepresentations to a lawyer that wouldn't happily participate in duping investors, courts, &c, &c. Kaye Scholer got sanctioned for helping Keating with Lincoln Savings like that (right?). And it's not as if law firms haven't ever failed in their own obligations to disclose information when disclosure could cost them an engagement (e.g., Milbank Tweed in Bucyrus-Erie or Perkins Coie in Jore Corp).

Re Lincoln Savings, check out OTS' recommended professional liability: http://www.scu.edu/law/FacWebPage/Glancy/html/kaye.html
