I realize what the goal is, but that doesn't make it any less absurd. BTW playing hoops in denim is equally absurd.

Uh...I agree that it is absurd and wanted to demonstrate how absurd it gets. That length is the absurd goal.

And the only time I see someone play in denim is when they're getting off work and walking by the park. No one wears jean shorts to play in (except the never-nudes, but they wear their cut-offs under their game shorts, I bet).

eta: I don't know why the NBA stopped allowing players to wear tights. I don't think those look ridiculous and they actually serve some function.

I am not utterly humorless when it come to men's fashion. Why, I pictured you in a Thom Browne suit as I read this obviously self-protective post and I laughed. Oh, how I laughed.

Welcome to my world.

The good new is, being too old to offer yourt opinion needn't stop you, and in your case, I am confident it won't.

P.S. It's getting warmer here and I'm getting ready to buy the new smoker.

MJ's weren't too big. The damn things we had to wear before MJ were seriously uncomfortable and restricted movement.

I can't tell you how happy we were as teenage basketball players when our school uniforms finally caught up to this trend and we no longer had to squeeze into the damn short shorts.

This trend was old when I was in HS. Enough already.

Can anyone recommend a good mediator with an engineering background in LA or SF?

You can PM me.

Thanks.
PM'ing you apparently is not possible, but I do have a recommendation.

If this is the suit you pictured me in:

then there is nothing funny about it.

NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT IT! SO JUST SHUT UP!

Nothing funny at all. In fact, I fear it could well be the cause of the recent, and until now unexplained, disappearance of honey bees.

You are quite humorful, or is it humored? What is the flip of humorless?

That drives me nuts. I've treid to PM him so many times and then found myself stuck with "Well, I can't answer... Guess he figures I'm a dick."

He should just call himself Coltrane. I could write about Jazz then, which would inch this drink - and the pistol in the downstairs cabinet - much closer to my head.

Dang; I thought leaving the law gig was supposed to make you happier or something.

I'd encourage you to experiment with heroin, though, for the good of the board. Move into your Burroughs period, riffing on mugwumps and shit. Hank won't like it, 'cause it might scare newbies away, but I'd be entertained.

Mutant pig bacon? Interesting that it (like I (me?)) was born in the year of the pig.
