Bernie's old CD is among the most rural in the country. He probably knows more about dairy farming, logging, and sugaring than raising soybeans. He probably knows sheep less intimately than you, though.

I think you misunderstand. I said if it isn't a breadbasket, heartland, take-back-our-country, farm value, the assholes in your party don't consider it to be an American value. That doesn't mean the assholes proposing those as true American values are necessarily from farms.

That particular issue is one of the few bipartisan blessings or curses. Iowa and ethanol, for example - or sugar and Florida.
