I'm a JD, not an MD, but imho, fyi, fwiw, you can only get so much done at once. YMMV.

Carry on.

eta: merde! stp!

reta: sorry Less  , no need to answer the PM, I see your point.

I disagree. In fact, I used to look a lot like that before babies. We all carry our fat a little differently.

Could be. I've seen women with this problem. And, for sure, some women lose the weight on their thighs and ass absolutely last. It's just that the difference between her stomach and thighs is so drastic (and she was so round before), that it seems like she got it sucked out. But I won't put up too much of a fight on this one. She looks much better than she used to.

My New BFF

My new BFF, the guy who witnessethed [is that even a word I'm tired] my near-death-experience gave me in commemeration of our shared near death, his very own cd [he is a musician.]

His wife's dad was a prominent partner at a very top shelf NYC BIGLAW firm.

Delivery

An untold number of otherwise law-abiding professionals in New York are having their pot delivered to their homes instead of visiting drug dens or hanging out on street corners.

You dial a pager number and get a return call from a cheery dispatcher who takes your order for potent strains of marijuana.
Within a couple of hours, a well-groomed delivery man — sometimes a moonlighting actor or chef — arrives at the doorstep of his Manhattan apartment carrying weed neatly packaged in small plastic containers.

“These are very nice, discreet people,” said Chris, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition only his first name be used. “There’s an unspoken trust. It’s better than going to some street corner and getting ripped off or killed.”
The corporate model — and its profit potential — were demonstrated late last year when the Drug Enforcement Administration announced that it had taken down a highly sophisticated organization dubbed the Cartoon Network. DEA agents arrested 12 people after using wiretaps and surveillance and making undercover buys.

The operation’s alleged mastermind, John Nebel, “should have been the CEO of a Fortune 500 company,” said his attorney, Steve Zissou.

I like the packaging. It's cute. Who would bust these guys?

Isn't this just begging for a bust? How hard is it, if they wanted to bother with pot, for the FBI to call the number, arrest the courier, and then start working up the food chain? An actor will flip in about 30 seconds, a chef in 15.

Two things, each unrelated to the above questions:

1. I saw a license plate the other day that said TCB 67928 (those may not have been the numbers). I laughed and laughed, oh, how I laughed.

2. All this talk of throbbing manhood has made me hungry.

My friends in New York have been using related, but less cutesy, services for many many years. These guys will give you a card that just says "Chicken" or "Sugar" and has a number to call. You just give a ring and place an order. Different qualities at different prices. Very sophisticated.

Tried Owen Roe Yakima Valley Red ('04) on Saturday. Very nice, if a bit "new world style" for my tastes.

I landed in Pa. late Friday. So here were my drinking options- beer from a party store.

Wine/spirits are only avaialable from a state store.

Why would wine be less available than beer? Beer is more of a "get drunker and then drunker" thing, isn't it? I just don't understand the law.
