On the bigger picture, though, I felt pretty good the night I went out with a group of folks (about half men/half women). One guy kept staring over at us. The women were convinced he was staring at one of them. I was convinced he was checking me out. Proved my take on the situation when I walked out 15 seconds ahead of the rest of the group, and his eyes followed me right out the door, leaving the women in the group cursing their defective gaydar.

The younger people suckled on a diet of MTV and they don't see anything wrong with it. In their minds, if you flaunt your sexuality at a funeral it is appropriate. So Leagle, get a clue. They aren't trying to send you any sexual signals with their choice in dress. They are just trying to wear what they perceive as hip clothes. They have different fashion mores than we do and if you insist on making teaching them the law part of your career, you will have to get used to them dressing that way. Don't let it make you feel uncomfortable. It is just a tit.

But what of those of us who have such astonishingly perfect bodies for our ages, particularly our perky breasts and butt, that no matter what we wear we get comments? Is this just the price we pay for beauty?

Paigow - I agree with you that you shouldn't be stared out or whistled out if you are wearing normal clothing. But you have to admit that there are women who wear outfits purposefully to get that reaction from men. Well, that always been my experience. I just try to live with it.
