For some reason I developed a reputation for knowing anything related to conspicuous consumerism which lead someone to ask me if i knew where one could get an antique LV steamer trunk restored. Any ideas?

Why not? They seem like a nice way to meet the extended family, friends, etc., especially if you have a large base out of town.

Of course, I come from people who take any event as a reason to throw a party, so maybe we over do it.
