I thought that maybe your translation of his translation, i.e., that he was drunk (again) had to do with the fact that everyone does, indeed, know that you're taller than Denzel on the internet, and that such an obvious omission would necessarily have to mean that he was drunk again.

Which kind of makes sense.

I rented Criminal with John Reilly and one of the guys from Y Tu Mama, Tambien. Early on, the plot seemed familiar to the point where I was guessing what would happen next, not a good feature for a crime caper type of movie. Then I realized that it was a remake of Nine Queens, an Argentenian flick that came out a few years ago and which I recommend. The remake was faithful to the original except for some minor changes that made the whole caper not make a lot of sense. If you're going to remake any movie, even a foreign flick, you should do it in some way that improves on the original.
