well until you see a second and even a third from me that are thoughtful questions, you probably should treat this one as an anomaly.

Damn.
Except for the unfortunate use of unthaw when clearly dethaw would have been better.

I. Every morning when disembarking my train, there is a woman on the train who has an ugly face. There is no getting around it. She is well dressed, very thin, young, but she is ugly.

So she rides in with her husband and they make a great show of PDA, kissy-face before she breaks away...and then she and I race to the Starbucks. She's always on my heels, breathing down my neck and if I turn around she's always right on top of me, or if I stopped short, she'd slam into me.
Sometimes, when you look in windows, when the lighting is right, the effect is that of a mirror.

I actually know someone who says dethaw when she really means thaw or defrost. She also says expresso. And says "chagrins" when she means "shits and grins" or "shits and giggles." She's annoying. She also calls the thing in between the front seats of the car a "counsel."

She also does the "warsh" and calls it Warshington. She's incredibly annoying.

Speaking of annoying, how annoying is it when they bring a "guest" into the booth on Monday Night Football to plug a movie or a show and they're a Jets fan? Why fly Christian Slater all the way up to Seattle to watch a game he's not the least bit interested in to plug a movie no one cares about?

I didn't call him annoying (although he is). I called him white. Should I have used Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air?
Stuart Scott was a fine choice, although he's better used as an example of what a white-black man thinks a black man would act like. For your purposes, Al Roker* would have been the better fit.

*I fucking hate Al Roker. Here's a black man that has so totally sold out that he is completely without personality. He makes me sick.

Why the qualifier? was there a black Senator during slavery? I don't get the phrasing.
I'm just going to assume someone got to this or my wonking has caused me to miss a joke somewhere.

Did you just call me Coltrane? 11-07-2006 01:39 PM

I just left a message on someone's voicemail...

...and I have this feeling that I sounded like Lumbergh.

This, of course, reminded me of the Lumbergh soundboard: http://www.phydiux.com/bill_lumbergh_soundboard.cfm

While I hate when people generally use the term "ex-presso" it particularly irks me when Waiters/Waitresses and/or baristas pronounce it like that.

Are you saying that, b/c the neighborhood is predominantly gay, the schools will be more likely to let me poop there?

He's jolly and avuncular. That doesn't count as personality?

Apple Care

When I buy my Nano should I purchase Apple Care? Is that the extent of the extended warranty or that yet another purchase? Is Apple care worth it? does it extend out the ease of replacement of the unit in case of issues?
