Will nature make a man of me yet?
How was I Not Aware of this wonderful thing before today?
Lyrics from the Smiths as dialog in Peanuts panels. In-fucking-credible. Anyway, carry on. |

I organized a girls dinner at LA Farm one night (maybe a year ago?). There were 8 of us sitting around a round table finishing up dinner and Stefan came to sit down with us (of course). He chatted with us for about 15 minutes and in that time started hitting on one of my girlfriends. I'm not sure why she even bothered with him (the lack of any hair, including eyebrows, is rather creepy in person), but she did and by the end of the night they were kissing and he got her number. He didn't comp a thing off our bill or send over desserts or anything, which I think is tacky. She met up with him a couple of times after that, probably because of the celebrity thing, and there's no real story there. But seriously, cutting into girls night to scope out someone and not even doing anything for the table? That's not right. Right? The food was just ok (I like good food enough not to cut the food for his douchebaggery if it had been good). And the atmosphere is very lawyers lunching (uh, no offence Gattigap). Not romantic -- sort of warehouse with white tablecloths. Although there is a cute patio off the bar area, where a (different) friend has held events somewhat regularly. |
