I’m just throwing this out here, but I think that if Biden had come out forcefully against court packing at the beginning, he would have done better in swing states.

The chances that the nominee in 2024 will be an actual member of the Trump family (probably Jr.) are about 1000% that of a Never Trumper, or even mild critic. I was really disappointed to see Nicki Haley today effusively congratulate the new Q-Anon members of Congress. But she has made a cold calculation as to where the future lies.

He’s going to be the shadow president for his base, a Pope Benedict, if Benedict were Tweeting all day and night between golf games, whacked out of his mind on Adderall and weekly McDonald’s-induced mini-strokes.

ETA: He’s going to OAN. He’ll be their Bill O’Reilly on steroids. Unless Murdoch or Sinclair can offer him a better deal.

We rejected Bush and Clinton dynasties. And rid ourselves of the Kennedys (with help from the Kennedys themselves). We are not going to have an Outer Borough Camelot emerge from the train wreck that is Trump family genetics.

He's going to need to take time off and find a new Eastern European wife soon. I think Melania is over 50?

Can you tell me why Barrett was not the same as Garland? I have not heard a good explanation for that but I’m sure you can enlighten me.

Basically the R Senators are smarmy hypocritical dbags. I cannot in good faith put forward an acceptable rationale for that.

McConnell rationalized it with the fact that Trump and the Senate were both GOP, and that was a different fact pattern, but no one was putting on those restrictions 4 years ago.

And for even the most Trump skeptical, Barrett is a favorite. I like her far better than Kavanaugh, and plenty of people wanted revenge for how BK was treated in his confirmation process. I mean, for people who have been tolerating Trump for the exceedingly rare wins, this was a big one.

I love her, but don’t necessarily think it was worth it unless you’re an LOL nothing matters nihilist.

You got the Justice you wanted but don’t like how it happened. Fair enough.

You think too highly of swing state voters.

The oil industry comment by Biden in the second debate cost him a ton in PA and OH.

Rust belt voters are all pocketbook. Because they need one. SCOTUS is an affluent person’s concern, or the fixation of religious folks. The Rust Belt’s seen enough to have grasped that there is no man in the sky.

I like BK more than her. Gimme the transactional all day. Folks with creeds, and strange ones, are kamikazes.

He can’t. He’s the strangest rich kid who’s ever lived. His old man must’ve been a seriously emotionally abuse fuck to have created this guy.

They’re so clueless. They thought this was a coronation of a new royal family.

Buy a compound near the Kennedys and start drinking, Don. It’s been a good run. Let your dipshit kids handle the endless restructurings to come.

He doesn’t drink. Scotch was Nixon’s out when he knew he had to leave, but D can’t fall back on it.

That’s the point. He needs to take up mind alternate. Who’s mind is more worthy, more likely to be improved for the exercise, than his?

While the initial delays in getting votes counted and calling states were anxiety-provoking, I am now enjoying the fact that the process is being drawn out. It is like that part of the EDM song where the tension and excitement is slowly building and building toward the inevitable drop.

I dunno, I thought the President made some good points last night.
