Yer right. That was cheap. We did lliberate them. But I don't have any faith in Iraq ever coming together into anything useful. Getting those people together has historically been like organizing cats. Iraq is a cobbled together conglomeration of disparate tribes and cultures with very different goals, except one - dominating one another. The British created Iraq's borders, and those dumb bastards have brought us Pakistan and Israel also. The only thing the British do worse than borders is cars. Iraq's borders are all arbitrarily chosen. They don't fit the natural cultural borders. Hussein held it together. Without him, or another strongman or puppet govt like it had pre-Hussein, Iraq is just a mass of jackass tribes looking for themselves. I hope we can fix it, but I wouldn't lay money on us doing so...

I guess that's the main difference, then. I do think they'll be up and functioning quite well, quite soon. They've seen hell, and I think they can now also see that life can be loads better if they work together. Yeah, they've got religious and tribal and economic differences, but I think they're more casual about those differences than some other ME societies.

Whiff. For some women in rural, isolated areas, abortion really isn't an option.
Neither is going to Taco Bell at 2am.

Should we federally subsidize Taco Bells for all rural areas, so that everyone can feel "full" when and if they get the munchies?

I hope that you're right, Bilmore, but recently their casualness has been highlighted by bombing the shit out of each other.

Yeah, that's exactly the comparison I was looking for.

If we collectively decide that preventing unwanted munchies at 2 am is a good idea, we should look into it.

He may be on to something. I'm trying to figure out how to cross market the two right now. Its tricky, but I think a few more hits of liquid paper should get me there...

"Free Chilupa With Every Third Abortion!" probably won't get us any first round funding, will it?

As you know, there are no 24 hour White Castles here in SF.

This sucks, but I could move back to NY if it was really that important to me.

Come back and play when you have a better analogy.

Dude, how can you call yourself a Republican and not want to fund free abortions? The people who would use the service are exactly the people who you all claim suck down your tax dollars. The cost of abortions for them is never going to be anywhere near the cost of maintaining them in the New Deal Safety Net for life.
