Sebby's studied pose of simultaneous disdain for Trump but grudging understanding of his followers will keep him from internment, which is nice, but in his new role as Camp Counselor for the Metro Philadelphia Area, his opportunities to be of help to you will be limited.

To see sunlight during exercise breaks and to get additional gold Sharpies with which to draft your memoirs, you will have to appeal to Grand Warden Chinaski. And I think that you know, and I know, how that will go.

Boot that. I'm going to be Commissioner of Patents. I got in line early.

At worst, she's a craven politician who will say anything to get elected. And that puts her square in the middle of the politician curve. And maybe she's too hawkish in her foreign policy. But aside from that, the question is: How will she actually govern? We've seen her as senator. We've seen her as secretary of state. She's not going to destroy this country. She's not going to appoint radical Supreme Court Justices. She's not going to ignore Supreme Court opinions because they conflict with God's law. She already has relationships with many world leaders. She's smart, connected, and can turn to Bill for advice when she needs to.

If you want big change, she ain't bringing that either. But for Godsakes, given the alternatives on the right, I can't imagine how anyone is even considering not voting for her should she win the primary.

With what I can gather from folks who spout this stuff, it seems to be a cocktail of two parts anticipatory exhaustion at the thought of listening to stories of email/Whitewater/BENGHAZI!/cattle futures for the next four years, and one part nagging suspicion that maybe she actually did kill Vince Foster.

She's a woman.

Whatever you do, don't click this link. Even though it is international women's day.

Sorry about that. Rainbow was Ritchie Blackmore's band after he left Deep Purple. Your typical British blustery power rock kinda guy. (Ronnie James Dio was the lead singer until 1979 when he replaces Ozzy in Black Sabbath for a bit.)

I suspect that Pony may have gotten drunk with Ritchie. And probably Joe Lynn and Ronnie James, too.

Which has totally new meaning after seeing Deadpool.

Given Trump's ascendancy I think I'm OK with this.

Bernie up in Michigan, early, but still. And Kasich a strong second.

I don't think anyone hates her. I think it's fatigue. Other than her foreign policy, which is interventionist, I don't have any fear or loathing for Hillary. The fear and loathing is for the professional class of politician she represents.

No one likes dynasties built on craven bullshit. And when you see Sanders, who is utopian, but still an honest broker who coherently addresses the issues, debating her, you can't help but root for the guy. An emotional extension of that might be:

"Hey, Grandpa's talking serious shit here. We all know you're a soulless bag of polling data soundbites who'll win, but we want to see him make you earn every inch of it. Just because. Don't pretend you don't understand. You're 100% politician. It's in your polluted blood from birth... You're shit with legs, and you know it...

"You'll be allowed to win... but you'll need to suffer for it. Because that's the price of entry these days for people of your kind. Cut the whining and dance for us, you-bought-and-paid-for cretin."

(It was delightful to see Jeb get his ass handed to him by a reality show charlatan. A perfect end to that wretched would-be dynasty. I think Clinton dredges up many of the same feelings.)

Rainbow is to Deep Purple as Journey is to Santana (Mark I).

Really? Come on. She sucks. Bill was a rock star. So when you hear Clinton, you think, "Yeah, he was full of shit like the rest, but damn -- things were good, and he was a natural."

Then you see Hillary. And you think, "She's smart. But she's also the Democratic equivalent of Mitt Romney. Stuffed fucking suit. How'd Bill have anything in common with her?"

Sharing a last name with The Master sets a bar way too high for a politician of such limited ability. And the dynasty thing. We had a second Bush, and that turned out... uh, near apocalyptically bad?

Bernie is not catching Hillary, and no one is catching Trump.

It'd be more fun if I were wrong.

why can't he check her? Wasn't Michigan the first big state for the Dems? he keeps winning the big states coming up, he can't catch her, or you see Michigan as a fluke?
