Fringey, you responded to my post that said, "which is which" with a response (that now seems to fit with another post) that said you weren't sure if I was or wasn't saying something about hidden fat--hence, my confusion. To answer that post, you're reading too much into it. If you asked me if I thought you looked fat and I thought you looked fat, I would say so. But you don't.

Part of the reason why you would know this is true is because of the whole patentpara fiasco here on the board. Since no one wants to re-live that (other than Hank, apparently), pm me if you don't remember it. Hank's last joke about me pm'ing him about your hair looking nice comes from that.

As opposed to the secrecy with which most people share and learn about bacon?

ETA: This should probably go in the cooking thread, but.....

http://bacn.com/media/uploads/chocol...ered-bacon.jpg

Ingredients

Fletcher's Thick Sliced Naturally Smoked Pepper Crust Bacon
Ghirardelli Gourmet, 72% cacao, extra bittersweet baking chocolate

First you take the bacon and broil it in the oven for a nice, even crispness.

Then, carefully melt Ghirardelli gourmet, 72% cacao, extra bittersweet baking chocolate in a double-boiler.

Next dip the pepper-crusted savory goodness into the rich melted sweetness, leaving just a "handle" of uncoated bacon.

Let them cool on wax paper.

Serve at room temp.

Fringey, if we send you some as a gift can you eat it even though it is high cholestrol?

are you recovered enough to receive criticism of your grammar?

did someone post about this?

if I was the young man I'd be pissed my "dunk on James" film was lost, but I understand LeBron's position. Here he is making an appearance, playing not at full speed, and some guy rises on him? He would either need to play full out, which makes him not able to play with these guys, or allow every knucklehead in the gym to dunk on him.

At this point, LeBron and Nike should have fun with it and use it in a commercial, donating some cash to the kid's school to improve their program.

That's just dumb. Does she really think her sitcom is going to be a SMASH HIT? I'd keep the TC hosting gig as long as possible, if I were a superhot Indian supermodel like her. Actually, if I were her, I'd probably be too busy looking at myself naked in a mirror to hold a steady job, so perhaps it is a good move on her part.

I don't think the FCC would approve of that.

Well, I am not surprised. I like Top Chef as much as the next person, but she has probably had enough of the prima donnas and the oversalting. And the "California Flair" -- remember that guy? And the "I don't think Tom likes me" guy. And has Gail Simmons been replaced by Toby Young, or is she coming back? Toby Young would be reason enough for me to quit.

Padma is on to Pantene commercials and (likely) bad sitcoms, and I say Godspeed.

flinty mentioned three activities, so your "both" is confusing. I believe her looking at herself naked could be a viable TV show, I mean with some movements added IYKWIMAITTYD.

Well, as there are only items that she is known to be doing/have done publicly....

But I fully endorse your and Flinty's suggestion that all three should be brought to the airwaves.

Don't get me wrong, I like Padma and think she's hot and sexy. Also, I weep for the future of Top Chef without her. I am just conveying that I can understand her decision.

i think you offended by boiling several males down to a single insecurity or peculiarity. that is no better than when flinty reduces a woman to her body parts, a piece of meat for him to look at.

and of course flinty would be afraid of a world where a male is characterized solely by his insecurities and peculiarities- of course he would lash out to the suggestion. try to think more about how others feel gwnc.
