Every day but today the "girly" thing doesn't bug me as a gay thing, but as a "girls are somehow substandard to boys" thing. As a girl, I take offense to that.

Today, though, someone came out to me as about to start the process of transitioning from male to female*, so, today, it's a queer thing.

He's an ex(?)-crack-addict who moved in with her bc his lease ran out, talked her into having his baby, cheated on her and left her while she was pregnant and they were engaged, and stalks her so that she can't date anybody else. What's not to like? Why on earth wouldn't she continue to fuck this guy's brains out?

Abba, do you have good, honest, close friends who you have asked for advice? Family that loves you and wants the best for you? Do any of these people advise you to get back together with McDouche? Seriously, what happened in your childhood to fuck you up this much? Because this level of self-destruction doesn't come from nowhere and you seem like you are an intellectually bright person and obviously you are capable of finding a better mate. So seriously, what's the deal? Why do you only date alcoholics and drug addicts who treat you like shit? And why do I get the feeling I'm typing words that have already been said to you a million times by people who are close to you and want the best for you?

I need to go to bed and stop being so upset over how people I don't even know manage to fuck up their lives.

Let me suggest something, abba needs to feel better about herself, and I say that as a graduate of a college psychology class. perhaps the best thing we can do to move abba back to feeling the confidence she should feel is TMBD3?

Am I alone in reading these words and thinking, "Now, there's a combination nouns and verbs you never see next to one another"?

How can you not like vodka?

I suspect he meant he disliked vodka, not that he unliked vodka.

SlaveNoMore 12-04-2009 01:09 AM

This point is moot.

If we could re-activate the search function, I could find where Less and I each tried to talk you into getting unpregnant.

Barely's right. For the sake of your daughter -- who is very cute, BTW, and I'm a bit of an expert in such things -- please have the self-respect to have nothing to do with a man capable of such a thing. I do not think you have yet fully comprehended that his being a shitbag to you is quite minor in comparison to the shitbag he has already been, and will always and inevitably prove himself to be, to your daughter. The best possible gift you can give your daughter is to date, fall in love with, and marry a man incapable of doing what you have described.

i know it's unrealistic to hope that will happen- I'd need big tits like adder to make that go.

Exactly, Oprah's got some big titties, no?

[true story] several years back, a year or two after my last true story, I was in the Chi for a few days for the business. Out with some IBer types (investors in clients) at a succession of martini bars. Conservatively I would say I had somewhere around a dozen large martinis plus some other drinks plus some shots. Since that evening I have been able to say, without any self doubt or embarrassment that I do not like vodka. Done. Finito. Never say yes again. Sorry.[/true story]

According to post Bram Stoker vampire mythology, yes, but the folk belief in vampires probably varies enough to make them similar enough to zombies that the distinction is a minor one. A plausible explanation of how a belief in vampires came about, at least under Eastern Mediterranean burial practices. I don't know whether Scandinavian or British or French burial practices made similar discoveries of "alive" dead people less likely so there wasn't as much of a mythos there. Maybe mass graves were less common, or shrouding was déclassé. It sure as hell wasn't because British oral hygiene was best-in-class.
