I am going to test-drive the base and the turbo S this weekend. If I am still not sold on reliability, I may lease for three years and then decide whether to pay the residual or throw it back.

I find the third comma in this post to be the most intriguing.

Really? I would have said it's the fact he never has my kids, who after all are his godchildren.

not to be a timmy, but the proper possessive is atticus's. one should only drop the second "s" if the first carries the weight of a plural.

I'm not sure whether to be flattered or disturbed that I had the very same thought about that post.

[deliberation]

I've decided to go with flattered.

Confidential to Ironweed:

All the Bhoys say "hi". Had a blast in the Celtic end (much louder than any Sox game I've been at) and we roundly booed the lone vuvuzela that got smuggled in. As he was awarding the trophy, I thought I heard TC say, "Annual Football at Fenway". If you can arrange for Celtic to be one of the teams every year that would be awesome.

What is your opinion on the Oxford Comma?

We went to the Dynamo / Puebla game tonight, my first MLS game. Terribly fun, even with the four red cards and the near fight at the end of the game. No vuvuzelas, but one of the Dynamo support groups has some trombones and trumpets and drums. The other just has drums. Not nearly as full as Fenway was, but apparently SuperLiga doesn't sell out all that much. Almost definitely going to the All Star / Man U game next week.

I'm always surprised that SuperLiga matches don't sell better. Since there is bonus money at stake, those are the matches where the MLS teams tend to leave it all out on the field.

I loved MLS matches. I was a Revs season ticket holder and Midnight Rider (supporters group) member for years until I finally had enough of the inept Kraft ownership. The Krafts are the worst owners in the League, and use the Revs as a tax write off. They also nickel and dime promoters so that's why there are no longer any international matches or friendlies at Gillette. Bastards.

what does "leave it all out on the field" mean? Squirt fake blood when they fall down?

Ms. Slothrop, who is much more inclined than Less to transport Atticus' children, wants a Ford Flex. Can someone help me?

I am not really an SUV type of guy, but I have had these as rental cars a few times and they are alright. Family friend and better than most comparable choices that I know of. Go for it.
