Hey are you really in Van Nuys?
Are you anywhere near the fires?
Are you OK?

It's worse than the non-existant PB. Doesn't anyone have anything entertaining or interesting to say?

Bilmore, please don't leave me here! Let me come, too!
I was once called the most prolific socker in the history of Greedydom, however, seeing the quantity of effective sockery coming out of your shop, I question who wears the crown.

Bitch please. I have followed the career of my contemporary, Chris Hetherington, with some interest, as I once received a threat from some of his friends after asserting in certain Yale media that he had an unfair advantage over other Ivy League players by virtue of him being 24 during his junior year, or something like that. It's well known around New Haven that his dad pulled strings with Carm Cozza to ensure that he was given every break to become the QB, and other very talented QBs his year were not given any snaps in practice and quit the team as freshmen. How he has carved out a career as a FB and special teams player is truly remarkable - Mr. Hetherington is well connected.
So you're not surprised to see him on this list of other notables?

And is anyone surprised to see Romo on this list?

You know what they say.

Every dog has his day
But a good dog
Just might have two days.

Your sun shall rise again.

What does it matter? He's married. His life is over, anyway. Wildfires might be his last chance to go out with dignity.

I thought there was a grace period or something.

Do I not look like a long time lurker (but first time poster)?

Damn SS, beat me to the punch.

And to finish the thought, no I'm not surprised to see Hetherington on the list. He's as cheatery as cheaters come.

And in response to the other question, I'm not in Van Nuys (or the valley), though I occasionally go to "Humphrey Yogart" to get Carbolite and other tasty low carb products. Mmmmm, Malitol. Mrs. Str8 and I once bought about $180 worth of treats there (mostly 'La Nouba" bars), and asked if we were setting a record. We were told that a guy from SF routinely drops upwards of $800 at a time on low carb stuff whilst in town on business. Crazy.

meet the new king

I sed: "the quantity of effective sockery"

Dat, Monty, Monte et al.,

Thanks for proving my point.

Don't let it be forgot,
That there once was a spot,
For one brief, shining moment
Where King Penske socked-a-lot.

No kidding is he one of us. Not only is Dave the actor a Torontonian (more or less), but the character Dave was famously outed by Jimmy James and Lisa for being Canadian. Who can forget Andy Dick's brilliant snooping: "Dave, I'm doing a story on eggs benedict, and I forget all the ingredients . . . "

I see I left out the word 'too' at the end of my post, eh?

OK, let's show him what he could have won!

Let's have the lovely Carol Merrill open the box!
