My wife's business line was with the local bank. Which was eaten by a horribly run regional. Which regional was then sold (under pressure from regulators) to a bigger regional. All the same crap Hank described increased as the size of the bank granting the line increased.

That was my point. When your local bank becomes a stranger, it may be time to find a new local bank.

There's a place in Chicago now. I forget its name; something like Brazen Ripoff of the Primanti's Concept, or something close to that. I will never understand how anyone could serve pastrami or corned beef on white bread, and the fries, while tasty, have no place on the sandwich. I suppose if I were driving a meat truck while eating it, it might serve a purpose. But I'm not sure how hot french fries falling from your sandwich into your lap is any better than hot french fries falling from a bag into your lap.

No, this looks like Carolina Barbeque that is melting into its sauce so they're indistinguishable. Still a solid, with some residual meat texture, but just barely.

Not to interfere with the American barbeque debate, but some of the best barbeque I've had is persian - it is cooked for days very slowly, and melded with various vegetables, spices, fruits, starches and sauces in the cooking in a fascinating way.
