On reading the article, I am left with the thought that moving control now is potentially disastrous. Having a smart guy like Rahm in charge is the way to go; although on reflection, having a functional retard (no offence) like Daley in charge probably made it inevitable that the CPS would continue to fail.

Sarah Palin disapproves of your use of retard.

In other stupid Chicago politician news, US Rep. Danny Davis (D-IL), and candidate for Chicago mayor, threatened Bill Clinton and Obama with loss of support in the black community if they come to Chicago to say anything nice about Rahm. Which raises the question: is there anyone in the congressional black caucus who isn't a worthless twit?

Are you saying that the private prison business isn't profitable?

you're right. i'm sorry. try this:

you know everything about how unions work. I bet you actually spent time in a union and in some leadership position. I'm sure the naivete that your prior post implies was a clerical error.

Who is a little too close to the Detroit city council shenanigans for my taste.

Also, isn't it zombie Conyers anyway?

just because JC was fucking someone who went to jail for cheating the city doesn't mean he is crooked. If you met my wife would you blame her for Penske's hillary photoshops?

It would be nicer to be talking about the original subject rather than your resemblence to nether orifices or my lack of famliarity with matters union, which was kinda what I was trying to get at before.

Maybe, but if you are unwilling to acknowledge that an academic understanding of unions is different than a practical understanding you have rendered the discussion pointless; and no amount of ad hominem attacks will give you the high ground here.

In fairness, for most, no, but the ones on the adult board were her idea.

Tyrone Slothrop 12-29-2010 11:35 PM

Stop talking and say something.

Cletus and I were talking about the DC unions, which I have already said I disagreed with. The ad hominem attacks were introduced by Hank, who entered by saying that I didn't know anything, instead of saying something to show he does. You've done the same, and it's been equally useless. If you have something to add on what we were actually talking about, that would be great.

Whatever your or my actual understanding of unions, it would be nice if you could just post in a way that shares on whatever you actually know instead of just pronouncing that you know a lot and that others don't, notwithstanding how pleased with yourself it makes you. No offence.

no one is trying to show you up, but a corollary of your suggestion would be to not tell us we're trolls when we disagree with you on topics that we know better than you.

if you'd like, email me your posts in draft when they touch on a subject not in your wheelhouse and I'll correct as necessary.
