Sounds like a lot of work. What does the WSJ editorial page say?

Yes, Lauer has not been pwnd so badly since the Cruise beatdown. I'm smelling another bestseller for the Queen of Conservatives with Guilty!

how does one appeal something like that? Do you just appeal broad decisions like whether to count catagories?

if the first ballot that popped up on my quick look is any indication, there is no standard for appealing, other than the "cuz i feel like it" standard, which is how a typical 5 yo behaves, which is about right for fraudken.

I flipped through the first 75 or so. There were two I would have given to Coleman that weren't, but also two he got I wouldn't have given him. The Franken ones I think I agreed with.

Most of the issues tend to be situations where someone filled in the bubble but also put and X through it like this:

Is meant to cross out of the vote or emphasize it?

I saw the clip on MSNBC.com. Why does NBC care that she's screaming she's been banned? Her behavior during the interview alone is enough to not invite her back. Obviously NBC seized on the carefully planned ratings bump orchestrated by Coulter. But the question is, why the fuck would you invite her on your show to push all of her books when all she does is shit all over you? If I were Lauer, I would ask her, "Why should we want you on our show? Who are we entertaining or informing when we discuss why you like to call Obama, 'B. Hussein Obama?'"

Your posts are about 8 steps below the Keillor piece you railed on awhile back. Why is Franken any worse than Coleman in this recount?

that was challenging. now they have all been counted or not, and coleman has to appeal something. He can't appeal ballot by ballot, unless there is no word limit at all.

sorry. i am typing with one hand. injured the other so i cant be my usual elegantly rhetorical self. . from my review, franken's challenges appear more arbitrary and designed to muddy the system, altho my review is not complete,. yet.

also, what the wsj said.

The "appeal" is a direct challenge in a trial court (of some sort--apparently 3 purple people eaters*), not just an appellate argument with briefs and oral argument.

*Note: not purple-people eaters.
