Bullshit. Here's your point: They let someone out who was falsely accused, who then committed a similar crime as the one for which he was falsely accused and doing as much is "a ringing endorsement for the whole process."

Julian Bond: That's an interesting point. My theory is that it's based on the fact that light-skinned blacks are smarter than dark-skinned blacks.

Julian Bond: I said I think it might have grown out of the observation that light-skinned blacks are smarter than dark-skinned blacks.

Garrett Morris: I don't get it.

Julian Bond: It's got nothing to do with having white blood. It's just that descendants of the lighter-skinned African tribes are more intelligent than the descendants of the darker-skinned tribes. Everybody knows that.

Garrett Morris: This is the first time I've heard of it.

Julian Bond: Seriously? It was proven a long time ago.

Garrett Morris: Well, I still don't quite understand. We're out of time right now, but perhaps you could come back on the show again and explain it further.

Yeh, but it wasn't a comparison any black man would want. The guy looked like Joe Dirt.

Oh, shit... yeh... some fat white guy was freed a year or so ago. He promptly went out and raped and murdered a woman. His toothless mother was on CNN, explaining between bong-hit sized inhalations from a Salem 100 that "her boy was framed." Apparantly, an unknown murderer deposited the dead woman's bloodied personal effects in a trash heap near her son's trailer. I believe he also may have deposited some of her son's semen on the dead woman as well.

Bullshit on you. My point was that in fact it is not only blacks that have been held in prison when DNA can prove their innocence. My secondary point was that I hope the UW law school professors who got the law changed are happy with their work. If it helps to separate those points more by putting them each in their own paragraph I could do that too.
