For the saps

There's a song that breaks me down every single time I hear it. I was driving home from work on Wednesday, listening to NPR, and I heard Henry Louis Gates talking about the just amazingness of the day. And at the end, he sang a few lines of "Amazing Grace." I'd already cried several times in the previous 24 hour, but with hearing those lines, I burst into uncontrollable tears.

Anyhow, I blogged about my sappiness, and someone posted in the comments a video of Whintly Phipps explaining the song.

Of course, when I watched the video, I cried all over again.

What an amazing song.

That brand has enough troubles, given its close association with the Republican brand. Good luck.

I hope that sticks. If it works, it's a brilliant move.

Nike Women's Marathon

Reebok takes advantage.

And then Nike responds in turn.

The End.

Combine it with a naked woman to eat sushi off of, however, and it might be.

I am taking credit for this latest recrudescence. It only took a few minutes in a hotel bar to remind Penske that he couldn't live without us. And I made a point of lying about how funny you've been lately, so don't blow it.

no point re-inventing the wheel. Penske was retired during the Guernica posts, right?

Speaking of changes, if you need a lawyer in MN and you happen to trust me with your life and/or money, google me. Shouldn't be too hard to find my new digs.

Being my own boss is fun.

At what point do you add the person you are dating as a "friend"?

How long have you been dating him?

Did you just call me Coltrane? 11-11-2008 04:06 PM

Never. Make him friend you.

ETA: To clarify, don't request him as a friend; make him request it from you.

And then wait a week to respond.

AETA: I've been on facebook for almost two weeks. I know what I'm talking about.

Depends on his level of integration with the rest of your pack. If he's friends with half of your friends, it's sort of weird that you're not arleady linked up, virturally. If he's a lone wolf that isn't integrated at all in your group, then I'd keep him aside for awhile until it's clear that your lives are more melded.

(disclaimer: I have two ex- and one current boyfriend listed as friends on facebook.)

I have not added my boyfriend as a friend on the advice of Diane Keaton. So far, it is working out well!

There must be some mistake, unless my friend request is lost in the mail.
