he just said Cruz was a vile sociopath, not that he wasn't fuckable. I mean Paig's fucked slave with her eyes wide open; the heart wants what the heart wants.

I. Am. Paigow. Slave's penis is abnormally large given that he is abnormally small.

I never said he'd be a bad fuck.

Just don't be surprised when he pulls a Frank Booth.*

If you aren't fucking Ted with your eyes open, well...

Fuck it. Ted, Just Admit It.

I don't know. That abortion comment was too stupid for a guy who's played the reproductive rights issue so carefully through the campaign. I'm getting the sense he might be taking a dive.

The biggest problem with our democracy is the degree to which we tolerate mediocrity. I'm done. If the Dems or the Republicans want my vote for a candidate, they can nominate someone worth voting for or I will pick my own candidate.

The problem isn't people choosing what you call protest votes. The problem is that the parties keep giving us shit choices.

I'm not saying she would be as bad as Trump or Cruz. I'm saying she's just not good enough. I also thought I made it clear there is a huge difference between the two fascists and Hilary. If not, let me make it clear now. I think that either Trump or Cruz have the potential (and perhaps even the intent) to bring us to the brink of a complete breakdown of the social order. Hilary is not that malevolent. I just don't see her embracing the kind of material change we need. Things like bringing back Glass-Steagall, finding a way to make single-payer healthcare a winnable proposition, investing in infrastructure through a public works program, and integrating the corporate and individual tax as part of massive tax reform.

I have to confess I hadn't seen her talking about taking those steps. I find that encouraging. I particularly would be impressed if I saw her saying more about how too big to fail is too big to exist. I also like what she's saying about sending criminal corporate officers to jail.

Compare that to Trump or Cruz. Please pay particular attention to the 2-3 SCOTUS vacancies that the next President will likely fill, and bear in mind that the 3 oldest justices are Ginsburg, Kennedy, and Breyer. Who would you rather nominate the replacement for Ginsburg? (Not to mention the seat that is currently empty.)

"Writing in the best person for the job" is a protest vote -- you are protesting the fact that the so-called best person is not actually in the race. An election is about choosing the better option.

I shudder at the thought of either Trump or Cruz nominating anyone to the Court. But that doesn't mean I'm going to put up with mediocrity on the Democratic side of the ballot. That mindset needs to change.

Yeah, President Clinton would be every bit as bad as putting a radical climate-change denier in the White House. Especially if the Republicans continue to control Congress. I mean, there is just no chance whatsoever that Trump or Cruz would roll back environmental laws. They'd probably be too busy repealing Obamacare and criminalizing abortion.

How does your stomach taste these days?

Where did I say I was voting for Cruz or Trump? Where did I even say I am at all comfortable with either of them in the White House?

Poor baby -- you have to choose between the candidates who are actually in, rather than writing in Santa Claus.

Get a grip on yourself.

Actually, you said they would be the same. Then you walked it back a bit, claiming it was hyperbole. It was not hyperbole, it was utter nonsense.

I'm not sure how the two are related. Inversions are tax evasion, pure and simple. How does that lead to increased investment in the US?
