A cynic would say Stone is being set up to take the fall already. I think he's just too dim to shut his mouth.

If all that happened was coordinating on leaks, maybe they can have Stone or Manafort be the fall guy.

But the biggest allegation in the dossier is that Putin offered Trump a stake in Rosneft in exchange for lifting sanctions. There's no fall guy for that, if true.

If Trump took that deal he deserves to be jailed on the simple proposition no being that stupid should be seen outside a zoo.

We didn't you imbecile.

But I would point out the tax change that Hank is upset by is the main component of the ACA bill that is a sop to folks with an approach that I think you have advocated: letting individual consumers bear the full costs of care and counting on them to then negotiate a better deal. Now, it only exposes the high-end plans to that rule, assuming that if it works those are the people with the most negotiating leverage able to fend for themselves.

You can argue with Hank over its pros and cons, but the fact is, even with a substantial number of Dems willing to ride on this one, the Republicans can't muster the votes to take that tax subsidy out of the system.

That's not what Carlyle says.

Focus on small bills, single points, little fixes.

Everyone wants to go big on healthcare, but there is a lot that can be done by fiddling around the edges and making little changes, and that's likely the only way to do anything positive in healthcare for the next couple years.

That said, if Bernie can get any traction with his Medicare for all approach, he'll be hailed as a genius. He doesn't have a great history of finding folks across the aisle to work with him, but maybe with his newfound clout...

The FBI knows how to flip infantry to get them to turn on the officers. BTW, CNN reported this weekend that Flynn is cooperating with the FBI.

Why do you think it's exploding?

It's exploding and imploding at the same time.

The source for that was an interview with Juliette Kayyem, who walked it back afterwards. Still speculative - she isn't alone in speculating, but still speculative.

Of course, if there were a lefty equivalent of Fox, we'd be ignoring the walk-back and be demanding the immediate impeachment of Trump based on the information Flynn would be about to reveal.

Too many insurers are leaving. Here's one of a thousand articles: http://money.cnn.com/2017/03/24/inve...-act-insurers/

Also, Trump's going to simply let it languish. I could cite a thousand more articles about why doing nothing is worse than repealing and replacing.

The law was designed like a commercial loan. Needed to be extended or taken out with different financing. Nobody assumed a lender demanding the balloon, with no refi options available.

If the infantry has nothing to trade, those agents might as well flip flapjacks.

From a Republican perspective, that has all of the advantages of opening yourself up to primary attacks from the right, while also not accomplishing anything big.

It's obviously not perfect, but it's not exploding. See this, for example:

http://www.npr.org/2017/03/27/521441...loding-its-not

I'm sure you can cite lots of article. There is a whole press-like industry built up to satisfy the need that conservatives have to believe and hear what you're saying.
