Hank, I didn't think we'd need an Adderseque intervention with you.

It's the 21st century and she's a young thing, so you need to be hip and with the times. I'd suggest you start by "friending" her.

The mostly correct response would have been "Ping!Pow".

I think the commercials say to contact your doctor if it lasts for more than four hours.

Are you sure the treatment isn't to soak it in a footed tub?

Hmm. Perhaps it is survey time. I have fucked one paralegal. What do you think the board high is?

Me too! One here.

I would suspect the board high is 4.

Whether or not its efficacy can be tested, why are you so closed-minded about something about which you admit to knowing absolutely nothing?

I do not understand the Han-Nambu color theory of quarks, but I am certainly open to the idea that they exist.

Why are you (and others) so defensive about the potential that there is nothing other than placebo effect going on?*

*Yes, I recognize that others have alluded to research on the question, but I haven't had time to read any of it yet.

Placebo effect requires a strong belief in the treatment beyond any reasonable analysis. Therefore, those who experience a placebo effect already believe the treatment will work and their own results act as a confirmation of that strongly held belief. Their confirmation bias blocks any conflicting information out of the analysis.

I only took psych classes to meet weird chicks and yet this was pretty basic stuff. Your frustration seems very odd. I'm beginning to doubt Penske on the paralegal thing.

I am a big fat zero on Paras, in particular, and on subordinates, in general.

All the FBrads are slow on answering here. I'll note that he was a para not at my firm (and not in my practice area) and he is an attorney now. He was also 6 years my junior and made for a good welcome to my 30's.

Really the guys should outpace us by a huge margin considering that 75% of paras are women and 75% of the male paras are gay.*

*I'm pulling statistics out of gwinky's ass based on my anecdotal evidence.

That's not the number of paralegals I've slept with; It's just gwinky's ass.

But it's also the number of paralegals I've slept with.

Because Barack Obama, L.A.C. (Diplomate in Oriental Medicine) fixed Hank's teeth during Hank's recent visit to Kenya.

That shit doesn't just happen on its own, you know.

How else do young lawyers have sex, if not with each other?

I had a designated hitter for a year or two who worked at my firm. After I moved on, he was sort of the welcome wagon for lawyers, clerks, paras, and probably a receptionist or two.
