Or maybe he thought she was real.

Newber Coming

There is hope for the next generation of attorneys. From the comment section of a Nevada Legal Tabloid I read discussing a post on taking the bar exam this weekend:

There's a really awesome Story Corps piece about a group of office mates that got one of their disabled co-workers out of one of the Towers on 9/11 from the 69th floor. It's the last story on this page.

Courses already have carts aplenty. It's not like I thought they should build him a moving sidewalk through the course. :)

$3200 for a thong-ectomy at Texas A&M for a black labrador retriever named Holden in 2003.

I hear you.

Fucked up once again on getting pet insurance, but, unlike with the last one where epilepsy and hip dysplasia were preexisting no longer covered items, there is still hope to get coverage going forward.

Always looking for a reason to post a link to the list that first made me fall in love with McSweeney's Internet Tendency. Brainy chicks, you know where to find me.

Hydrogen peroxide worked wonders on getting the Pup to purge the plateful of brownies she ate. Kind of entertaining to watch her facial expression change from one of "cool!! we're going for a walk!" to "uh oh".

A friend's Doberman had a penchant for eating socks. One morning at the dog park we were privileged to witness a sock making it's way to the wild once again.

When I adopted The Pup, I opted not to get pet insurance (in those days the dog had to be under 6 months old to get insurance). Her eye issue (and removal) earlier this year cost me over $5,000 and I don't regret spending a penny of it.

A few years later, my sister got pet insurance for her Dobie. The bastards didn't cover a thing. Not the Wobbler's. Not the von Willibrands. Not the time she tangled with a buck and got slashed with an antler. Not the meds for the congestive heart failure.

For the next pup, I will read the fine print carefully.

I think the lack of news means you need to give Adder a tutorial on Moldovan chicks.
