Then, Ty points out that you miscited it. So, you say the NYT must be lying. In fact, their lie is so bad that it proves that the reverse of what they said (i.e., what you said) is true.

What was "approving" of my cite? I merely noted that the NYT reported that a vet was spit on by the crowd that GGG depicted so glowingly. If asked, I would have also said that the paper's rescutation of "tens of thousands" was laughable given the police estimate of the crowd.

I wasn't before - but now I'm saying the NYT was lying (about the crowd size). I'm also saying that its probable that they only bothered to interview an unrepresentative sample of vets.

I retracted my statement (about the content of the Times editorials) because I couldnt immediately find what I was looking for and I wasnt going to waste more than 10 minutes reading that crap. That its op-ed page is a cessspool of Anti-american drivel, and that the paper itself engages in behavior bordering on treason (and condemned by Barney Calame) is something else entirely.

I saw him too and no nothing about him, but he came off as very reasonable. I also saw Rudy speak in NH this week on CSPAN. He has my early vote and it would be great to see the match that never took place in NY a few years back.

I have to say, as a Dem, if our candidate is going to lose, I would rather it be to Rudy than to someone like Brownback.
