Streak. Sometimes it's gotta get done.

And I said 10 feet, and passing by people, so the 10 feet is for a second or two. My governor locked us down to the extent she was tied with Cuomo as Trump's least favorite, and caused nut cases to plan to kidnap her. She has always said no mask needed outside if you can distance.
Likely risk-free but when I'm running, if I am chugging along you can see bits of spittle and droplets fly out of my nose and mouth. The deer don't mind but the people might if my face were uncovered.

In my mind it is far, far worse. It's actually pointless. The 6 times I have gone in, over the last year. as I have mentioned, it's been lock down in my office with an N95 and the window open.

Me too, but my son's youth soccer team has started playing again. I'm concerned about that vector, but also don't have the heart to tell him he can't play.

Youth soccer wear masks here I think.

If i lived there I'd be running on the Hudson, probably into Harlem where the path gets pretty empty. But you don't live or work there, right?

That's good. But to say a group of runners all socially distance doesn't align with what I have seen. Runners have been over masks/distancing for a while now.

I wouldn't run in a group, even if I didn't have the pernicious personality that makes it inevitable.

I did two fat bike races this winter. There were two start corrals, with two columns of five racers in each corral. The columns were more than six feet apart and you were at least six feet from the racer in front of you and behind you, and everyone wore masks in the start corral. Chip timing, and one racer would start every 15 seconds. When one corral was done, the other started, and new racers lined up in the first corral. The only time I was close to any other racer was passing or being passed, and we were on cross country ski trails that were plenty wide enough for passing. We did not wear masks while racing, but I still felt less vulnerable at any point during the races than I did during pretty much every trip to the grocery store.

Well, yeah. Outdoors is safer than indoors. Masked is safer than unmasked. Hard to argue with that. I frequently bike outside with a few others. The risk is not zero but seems relatively low. I have not been to a spin class (or the gym at all) in a year.

Same but running. I run with one other guy. We don't wear masks. We give others a wiiiiiiiide berth, often running into the street (we are normally on the sidewalk). No gym in a year, which means it's been an entire year since I've seen old balls.

You're fine.

I think I'm just annoyed with people's inconsistent positions. We pod with one family and I'm pretty sure if we go into someone else's house (masked), the "pod" is broken. But it's apparently totally fine to spend 3 hours inside a car dealership.

No it’s pretty far from me. I run over Manhattan or Williamsburg bridges.

Nike classes, push-ups running out doors. I’m good with missing old dudes blow drying their balls talking about Hillary.
