LawTalkers - Towards A Virtual Williamsburg!

I am in the middle of a non-lawyer hiring process right now for something, interviewing recent college grads. The minority students are universally heads and shoulders above the privileged white surburbanites BECAUSE of who they are. Talking to a woman whose first experience in the legal world was dealing with immigration issues or helping her parents start a small business you get a sense of someone who is just more serious and motivated than the kid with a half dozen unpaid internships working for their parents' connections. But it is a class thing at least as much and maybe more as it is a race thing - I suspect you and TM are going to spoil your kids rotten and leave them with most of the same disadvantages as mine.

He went from Harvard-Westlake to Stanford. He's been told his whole life that he has a right not to be talked to like that. No need to apologize to me. I could not care less what occurs in the NFL locker room. Fuck, Martin should be gratified he did not Hernandez as a teammate. He'd be lying in a field somewhere right now. And I highly doubt that Incognito is the only (or worst) racist, sociopath-leaning moron in the league. In fact, the combination of his name and his outrageously stupid threats ("I'm gonna shit in your mouth"?) make him the most entertaining guy coming out of the league in years.
