I am open-minded about this. If we can't use women as guinea pigs because it is a male contraceptive, I am willing to use dark-skinned males in other parts of the world.

Dude, you (you, RT) need to include the small print.
This small print?
Most side effects of the Pill are not serious and those that are, occur infrequently. Serious risks, which can be life threatening, include blood clots, stroke, and heart attacks, and are increased if you smoke cigarettes. Cigarette smoking increases the risk of serious cardiovascular side effects, especially if you're over 35. Women who use oral contraceptives are strongly advised not to smoke. Some women should not use the Pill, including women who have blood clots, certain cancers, a history of heart attack or stroke, as well as those who are or may be pregnant. The Pill does not protect against HIV or sexually transmitted diseases. http://www.orthotricyclenlo.com/about_ortho/about.html (spree: birth control pill insert)

Or this small print?

Fourth, after testing RISUG on more than 250 volunteers, neither Guha nor other researchers in the field have found side effects more worrisome than a slight scrotal swelling in some men immediately following the injection. This swelling goes away after a few weeks. http://www.gristmagazine.com/maindis...lman081303.asp (spree: article I just cited)

And yet you call yourself the sausage king of Chicago. What's to worry?

NOW WAIT A MINUTE -- I just realized! What are YOU getting all righteous about?

I'll bet you've never had to worry about birth control at all!

But I really like it when you get righteous. Carry on.

The unique aspect of testing the effectiveness, if not the safety, of any male contraceptive, is that women necessarily will be involved as guinea pigs in some sense.

The question is whether the women of the FB will put their yoni where their mouth is, and go have unprotected off-the-pill sex with an Indian man this week. And report back with detailed results, including reports of slight swelling for either participant.

Arrested Development

When is this show on? I vaguely remember seeing some commercials for it, but have no idea when it's on. (This can probably be googled, can't it?)

does unprotected sex with a native american count? or an indian-american? or are you asking us all to board a plane to India this week? because THAT might be hard to fit in (bah dum bum) to the work week.

No time, but I'll be happy to call the Dell customer support center and talk dirty to whoever answers the phone.

I understand leagl. I too, have been seduced by those hot sperm filled turkey basters and then woken up the next morning and said "good god, what have I done?". I understand completely.

It usually takes a generation or two to really understand the risks, so I'm not yet ready to believe the new method until it has been used by a generation of Indians.
If it is successful there won't be a next generation.
