Why aren't the videos enough?

She'll have no choice but to get in the mud and use all of Trump's dirt on him, and speak in nasty soundbites aimed at branding him.

Most sordid campaign imaginable. A spectacle that will rip open some of the nastiest divisions. And whoever wins will be seen by half the country as illegitimate. And not in the same way crackpot racists saw Obama as illegitimate. This will be even uglier.

...But it will be wildly amusing.

What dirt?

Her husband slept with Monica and she forgave the bastard, she sought some privacy on the interwebs, and she was Sec'y of State when some bad stuff happened (as is true of every Sec'y of State ever).

I think I just summarized what about $100 million of your money has been spent uncovering.

All I can offer is, I don't think he'll follow through much on his attacks on the Mexican community, and I don't think he ever really intended to do so. He made a deal with the devil to get press early in the race, and to galvanize the angry white vote. And now he's stuck with a truly loathsome platform on immigration.

If he were tried for doing anti-immigrant things, I'd have to concede his guilt and ask for lenient sentencing on the basis that he himself is not actually anti-immigrant. He's just an opportunist who took the really low road of scapegoating people.

(This is why I long ago stopped doing any criminal work.)

Yeah, the defense of "I don't hate women, African Americans, disabled people, Mexicans, or anyone else, just because I attack and degrade them..." is kind of weak.

Can you cite for me, other than the David Duke gaffe, where Trump has said anything negative about African Americans? I keep hearing about how he hates blacks, but there's no direct language from him quoted. It's always the Duke thing, and the fights at his rallies. Are you suggesting that when he says "Get them out of here!" in response to Black Lives Matter protestors, he's being racist toward Blacks? That's a bit of a stretch now, isn't it?

He's offended Mexicans, of course. And Native Americans by calling Liz Warren an "Indian." And he's offended women by saying those having abortions should be punished. He also mocked a disabled person. All of that is documented.

But where has he exactly said something derogatory about Blacks? And also, how is he Anti-Asian? That charge is made a lot based on his criticisms of trade policy relating to China and Japan. But if you actually read the quotes, he says China and Japan are killing us because they're smarter than us. Is this like saying "Asians are really good at math"?

That's fine, and understood. But that's not a duty, particularly one the neglect of which makes you a bigot.

how about his phony stats on blacks and crime? For Asians, you have the great videos of him at speeches imitating broken english.

Don't forget muslims.

He's just warming up, remember.

Okay. I found the link to the fake stats on Twitter. Yep. He's also directly offended Blacks. And I found the Asian video.

My apologies on forgetting Muslims. How the fuck did I do that?

Alright, he's throwing a no-hitter so far (or beaning everybody). Does he throw a perfect game? He's got to hit Jews, Catholics (he has already insulted the Pope, so maybe that one's done), Evangelicals, Canadians, Pacific Islanders, Southern Europeans, Turks (they're technically secular, so not covered by his Muslim rants), Poles, Russians, Germans, Inuits, etc... Is it possible he insults the descendants of the Bounty crew and native peoples on Pitcairn Island? (I think he's definitely going to nail those useless freeloaders in Tristan da Cuhna.)

By your definition, this post after your other posts is a flip-flop that makes you corrupt and untrustworthy.

And now, this: Cruz to announce Fiorina as his running mate.

The possibilities for sub-headlines are endless.
-- "She's even crazier about Planned Parenthood than he is."
-- "Lyin' Ted meets his match."
-- "She's so awesome, she sees things in videos that aren't even there!"
-- "I needed a vag to beat Hillary."
-- "Because bringing in a crazy lady worked so well for McCain."
-- "Trump tanked a few hotel developments, but Carly nearly brought down a Fortune 500 company!"

Stolen from Josh Barro on Twitter:

A Cruz-Fiorina ticket would be the second-most disastrous merger of Carly's career.

Yeah, his dad's a religious loon. But that doesn't mean the kid's stupid. Quite to to contrary, Cruz is highly intelligent and cunning as all fuck.

Look, I'm sure some of that dominionist nonsense rubbed off on Ted (most notably the lunatic teaching that he is god's chosen candidate). But nobody as smart as Cruz, with a history of being such an exclusively self-obsessed operator, could be a true Jesus Freak. You have to be dumb to buy into fundamentalism. This guy isn't dumb. He's a shrewd nihilist who knows how to sell himself to fundamentalist and evangelical rubes. No different than all the other liars who bullshit the bible belt and midwest every election year. The only candidates wearing Jesus Freakism on their sleeves who really seem to mean it are Huckabee and Santorum. Neither has 1/5 the intellectual horsepower of Cruz.

That and, let's face it - no true Jesus fanatic would be comfortable lying as much as Cruz has throughout his political career.

I'm not sure I believe that he isn't one of the many truly Jesus Freak hypocrites who see The Bible as co-signing each and every disgusting and/or selfish thought they've ever had.

But let's put that aside. What fucking difference does it make whether he believes it or not? Do you think Cruz and Santorum/Huckabee can be distinguished on any social issue? Shit, Cruz may be worse. All of his actions and votes are consistent with what a lunatic Jesus freak wants. Why do you consistently see these people as changing once they get in office and somehow being less dangerous. Do you excuse all of Cruz's votes in the Senate because he's just catering to his base in order to be President, that shrewd, cunning intellectual really knows just how to trick his idiot fundamentalist rube supporters' into voting for him by supporting every single piece of legislation they want him to and opposing all the ones they oppose. Pure genius. But at least he doesn't believe it. If he became President, would you excuse all the damage he does in the first term because we will surely see the real man in the second?

Insiders. Right.
