The only sane approach to the last 8 years to try to learn from the mistakes. If you try to find a pearl in Bush's sewer, I predict you'll just emerge unenriched but a bit less clean than before and with a distinctive aroma.

so Obama will let them all go? By Feb. 1?

You found the pearl!

There were only two recessessions! We lost less than 3 million jobs last year! There was only one major terrorist attack! There were only two wars! Russia didn't invade our Georgia!

Let me guess - the good news is, the US Attorneys who weren't fired prosecuted some Democrats, right?

90%

Yeah, but as Hank points out -- they let people walk in Germany, and look what's happened there.

You're right. He had no responsibility for the war in Iraq or the 2.8 million jobs lost in the last year.

And he did some really great things. Like, ah, well, um...

And now, a moment of silence. Really.

I never saw, and don't really care to see, the gay cowboy movie. But him as the Joker? Damn. Damn, damn, damn. That role will be impossible for anyone else to play for at least 20 years. Damn.

no offense, but one of the two wars you mentioned should have happened in the late 90s, and the job losses have to do with the fact that people in India and China work for spit.

we'll never know how Gore would have done with the same challenges that hit bush. I'm grateful.

I thought he was great. But I still think Nicholson was better.

I heard somewhere that this was because India and China started competing with us in the last year. I'm not sure where I saw this -- might have been Wikipedia or some other wacky Internet source.

You prick. Nicholson sucked.

Seriously, I hated him in that role. I thought he played Jack Nicholson with makeup. Reasonable minds can disagree on this sort of thing.

so obama is bringing the jobs back from India and China? guys, I voted for him. I hope he does well. I can't play the role of showing you how fucking stupid you are. Can one of you call Slave?

*edit-- I didn't realize the job loss reference was to the last year. was that number worldwide, because i think you're letting Bush off for millions of other jobs that were lost.
