When will Top Attorney make it into development?

"Your client for this task is a 12 year old child who would like you to draw up a contract for division of her bedroom with her younger sister. Her goals include: access to the bathroom, closet space and no give-backs. Get drafting!"

"You're out of the tribe, monkey fucking scribe."
I love all the shows on Bravo. Every so often I randomly come out with "It's a motherfucking WALK OFF!!!" Great line.

I am continually impressed with the junior-high-play-acting of the hosts on Top Design. So totally scripted and poorly read that it is AWESOME. I hope it never changes.

Speaking of TV, everyone should watch Planet Earth on Discovery HD. It's freaking amazing.

So, I was contacted over the weekend by a high school friend who wants to apologize for sucking me into his stoner lifestyle in the day. He's clearly doing the step thing. Funny thing is, I wasn't really sucked into his "lifestyle" and he really has nothing to apologize for. What I did I did, no big deal. (For him, on the other hand, it was a big deal as he pretty much smoked himself into oblivion - I don't know how much grey matter is left where there was once a considerable amount). It looks like he's contacting all the old high school crew prior to an upcoming reunion.

So, do I: (a) ignore it, as he's now done his thing and there's no point in prolonging anyone's agony here; (b) politely accept it but say no more about it; (c) say, hey, how's it goin, no big deal, you did the damage to yourself, bro - I was and am fine, no need to apologize (e.g., more or less what I feel); or (d) remind him that it was fun while it lasted, and, hey, we won't be doing any weed at the reunion but I look forward to tipping a few with him?

Will responding with (c) lead me into a bottomless abyss of dealing with his current "issues", or is it a fine way to move on to just being normal old friends who haven't seen each other in a decade or a decade and a half.
Are you seriously asking this? Just tell him (c). It'll dissuade him from embarrassing himself with similar calls to other people.

Agreed. It seems like I should be intrigued by her random outfits and hairstyles but instead I am just scared. It is almost like they just pulled a street person in to judge the designs. Her hair is actually reasonably tame, for her, in the photo above. And it looks like she is wearing actual clothes as opposed to whatever the hell she wears some of the time. Perhaps she is a crossover from Top Insane Clothing Designer.
She looks like Peter Frampton.

We've been Tivo'ing it. Watched Mountains last night. Question: What's up with the 15 minute long ad for the series at the end of the show? I was hoping for an hour of the Mountains show instead of 45 minutes plus the "making of the series" ad. Are they all like that?

No. Do you have an HD Tivo? They need to be viewed in HD.

Mr. Kiss, is that you? Uncanny.

I've already read that book.
I wouldn't say its uncanny. We're both just citing common scientific fact.

I really disliked the book. Utilizing it as a baseline, we all have substance abuse problems, which we most certainly all do not. It's got too much of the "this is an epidemic" type of wide web approach, trying to get as many people to recognize elements of themselves in as possible. I kept wondering why my nightly drinks didn't make me as desperate as she was.

But the thing about alcoholics getting drunk off their first drink was spot on. You know you been tipping back a few too many when that first pint feels like the third, and makes all those aches and pains and worries about everything sliiiiide away. That's when you have to take a couple weeks off.

Yes. HD DVR. Why pay for HD without an HD DVR? But thanks for the concern.

Yes. They're on all of the time.

ETA: But I guess I don't have to since my Comcast DVR records in HD.

Also, you cannot ALL CAP your sig line if you use lower case on your screen name. For example, notcasesensitive is abbreviated as ncs. ABBAKiss is abbreviated as ABBA.
Except that I, Bn'B, am the exception to this rule.

I know. I was just checking. You'd be amazed at the amount of people who think they are watching something in HD but aren't.

animal shows are the best reason to have HD. I never liked them much, but watching in HD it's almost like you're there.

I saw the arctic/antarctic thing last night, which is the only one I've seen. I enjoyed the little "making of" segment at the end. It was far less than 15 minutes, and filming emperor penguins at 70 below is itself interesting. Do they always leave out the money shots on the "death in nature" parts of the show?
