That hurts. I’ve been reading them as bedtime stories for years.

Three posts in and the child is sound asleep.

It also works with most sane adults. Better than Ambien.

Football should be treated like rugby. Only when you’re old enough to make really bad choices despite known health impacts should you be deemed old enough to play.

I’ll never forget the image of a national club rugby player running to the sideline during a break, grabbing his girlfriend’s smoke and taking a bunch of drags before running back into the game. People who play that game are on a different level.

*Yes, *we* are the remnant of the Old Republic, choosing exile rather than giving up sex talk and PG (not even PG-13!) language. Fuck West and what they did to Infirm.

"The alumni magazine at Cardozo Law School (which Schwartz attended) and a 2004 book said Schwartz was a low-level legal associate who wrote under the pen name “Cornholio Esquire” on an early legal industry message board. Schwartz denied that this was his pen name, but confirmed he was an investor in the message board company."

Too funny, and two lies in one quote.

Wait a minute, so there is a famous guy who posted? I remember Cornholio.

You think this Cornholio is famous? I remind you, my sister married Tom Hanks in a movie.

Semi-famous, maybe. “Infamous” might be more accurate.

I did not know that your sister married Tom Hanks in a movie. Which surprises me a little, actually. I did know about Hank’s ex aunt in law.

My uncle was one of the inventors of Ultimate Frisbee. So I've got that going for me.

Data Points

The temperature during my last four morning and evening dog walks was as follows:

Tuesday evening: Negative 20
Wednesday morning: Negative 27
Wednesday evening: Negative 18
Thursday morning: Negative 24

Those are air temps. Wind chills were in the negative 45-50 range.

Carry on.

It's so cold that I drove to work.

Tom's a pretty good bro-in-law. I try to stay humble despite my fancy imaginary family.

My other potential claim to fame are the orchestra and opera companies I've started. The oldest little band has had five grammy noms in the classical music category, which means we're almost famous in a very limited circle, but I'm not going to say anything until we have a win. Does a Pulitzer for Opera count?

My ex-aunt played the mom whose son came on her in American Pie The Naked Mile.

Everyone sit the fuck down.

He was one of the original 11 flounders, and one of the 7 of us that signed with Infirmation. He, along with DC Chef, also became employees. I've also spent a few debauched evenings with him.
