TV, fast food and other decadent luxuries of a declining civilization
 

TV:

I am slowly becoming a law & order rerun addict. The only things I make an effort to watch are Angel and Southpark, though. The Mr. has gotten addicted to Carnivale. I can no longer watch reality TV at all.

Fast food:

McDonalds, when on the road. They have the best fast-food iced tea.

KFC, if you're taking it home and pretending to sit and eat like a civilized person. I must try popeye's again, though, its been a while.

Taco Hell when on the run - beef burrito smothered with two packets of their hot sauce. I know this is vile and disgusting, but o well. Everyone has some habit through which they exhibit their self-loathing and borderline suicidal tendencies.

Special mention for Orange Julius. I love Orange Julius.

I know there is some fast food place I am missing, but I can't for the life of me think what it is.

Hank, I'm guessing:

1. Never learned how to type
2. Wrote all his college papers in longhand on legal pads and then typed them on a Selectric with correction tape
3. Went to law school before laptops were the norm
4. Has always actually had a secretary who would do his typing for him

This is not ageism. I'm just pointing out that if you would learn the niceties of punctuation, capitalization, and spaces between words, sentences, and lines of text, you might seem less stalky. Remember, Ted Bundy was a clean cut, good looking guy.

I once had a sit down with PLF irl, fwiw, fyi, for the record, in order to address some of the rifts that had developed on the board.

We shared a platter of the other white meat aka cheese and peppered our conversation with not so veiled allusions to the board.

Notwithstanding that, my conclusion was that PLF was an insipid bore who had jumped the proverbial shark back on the days when Prodigy.net hosted the boards. I went to the bathroom and crawled out the window, leaving him with the check.

Don't tell him this though, I think he is still waiting for me to come back to the table.
