I have never been able to get comfortable with the idea of a woman ob/gyn or even with the new rules about a woman being in the room while my male doc does the exam. Is it me?
Did you have scary dreams about lesbian doctors when you were a kid?

Thanks for clearing that up, oh Robust one.

I have had a male physician since the one who delivered me. I thought I would outgrow it but when I was pregnant I actually left an ob/gyn practice because they added a female physician. I don't have anything against women being doctors, I just can't get comfy with one being my doctor.

My dentist is female.

To TS -- no, not that I can recall. I have lesbian friends so I don't think I am afraid of them per se.

"Rear Entry" v. "Sex from behind"

The Rear Entry Position Described (Not IT-approved)

Also known by some as "doggy style" the rear entry position is fairly easy to assume. The woman gets either on her hands and knees or lays stomach first on the bed with her lover behind her. He is on his knees or sometimes his feet, and develops leverage by grasping on to her hips. Depending on preference the man's legs can be inside of the women's legs or outside of them. Couples may wish to have the woman's legs closer together because it creates more friction between the penis and vagina.

In this position a man has a great deal of freedom for thrusting. Her movement is somewhat restricted but this can be easy modified with an ottoman or low bed. The woman can then rest the upper half of her body on a supporting structure. This in turn gives her more freedom to move her hips and pelvis. The rear entry position offers the couple a chance at experiencing new sensations because the angle of entry is different while deep thrusting is made much easier. All these factors contribute to a particularly intense experience if you are with the right partner. Most men find that it is difficult to prolong their orgasm while in this position. The stimulation is often too intense or overwhelming. Consequently the couple may wish to save the rear entry position as a way to end their lovemaking session.

Note: the word "lover" must be pronounced comme Will Ferrell
Wow. Porn as written by a tech manual editor. I almost retracted.

Get in line, you. I still want an answer to my "PENis" "PENetration" question.

I prefer my female doctors. Our family doctor is a woman (a very hot asian woman, nttawwt) and gave the OM a full physical. He was slightly mortified at having to discuss his sexual history with her, not to mention the turn head and cough parts.

Well, motherfucker. Then what can one call it besides "doggie style"? Oh expert, please provide input. I cannot stand for poor mmmmmm to feel that he is being juvenile, and if only he can get rid of "doggie style" his posts will be fully adult.

This is not the first time I have heard this -- and I don't get it at all. I am exactly the opposite -- I don't want some dude poking and prodding -- ick.

In fact, one of the things I like so much about my ob is that all her partners are women, so that, when I had my children, even if it were a weekend, there was no way I was getting stuck with a male OB. Blech.

If the good lord had intended women to be doctors he wouldn't have created nurses. Or candi-strippers.

Presumably because you thought there was a possibility she'd be the one on call when you went into labor? Otherwise this approach of dumping the entire practice group because one doctor has a vagina instead of a penis seems kinda extreme.

Also, I think it's interesting that your question to raouaouaoaoaul seemed premised on the idea that he would be more comfortable with a same-sex doctor than with an opposite-sex doctor, when you are more comfortable with an opposite-sex doctor.

In high school, I had to turn my head and cough with the mother of a childhood friend. It was strange at first. But it was the best damn cough I ever had.
