I have had a male physician since the one who delivered me. I thought I would outgrow it but when I was pregnant I actually left an ob/gyn practice because they added a female physician. I don't have anything against women being doctors, I just can't get comfy with one being my doctor. My dentist is female. To TS -- no, not that I can recall. I have lesbian friends so I don't think I am afraid of them per se. |

In fact, one of the things I like so much about my ob is that all her partners are women, so that, when I had my children, even if it were a weekend, there was no way I was getting stuck with a male OB. Blech. |
