USGAY is the UNCTAD (United Nations Committee on Trade and Development) identifying code for Gaylord, Minnesota. How the hell did you ever run into a reference to THAT?

It is paigow's location.

So then why the hell would you just stand there talking to me like nothing's going on? If I was even half aroused to the point that it was noticable, I wouldn't get up from behind my desk.

Well, in Barbi Benton's case, she might very well not notice that her own nipples are erect, for more than one reason.
Is that the chick who was married to Hugh Heffner?

Damn. I just thought she was a man or a professional bimbo because of her Playmate "I like old guys who make me feel pretty and long walks and kittens and cheap lingerie and dusting in french maid uniforms..." post.

You are far, far more alert than I.

Then you've misunderstood my fact pattern. In my fact pattern there is true consent. My b/f is way hot for me and I am turned on by how much I turn him on. There isn't even a hint of coersion. But there seems to be an element of power there. However, like I said and you seemed to ignore also, haven't spent a whole lot of time analyzing it. But I am certain both of us consent fully and no one coerces anyone. In fact, as I also said, he even begs for it sometimes. Can't get better consent than that.

Ok, I went back and read what she had to say. I thought she was talking about rape, but it turns out she was talking about power and she seems to have some fucked up notion that exertion of power involves consent of the other person.

She keeps using that word. I do not think it means what she thinks it means.

Clarification: Rape always is always without consent. Exertion of power may or may not be with consent, and it depends on the fact pattern. She was using it as with consent, but didnt' clarify that it's sometimes exerted without consent. Your fact pattern involves coersion, which for crim law purposes, may not rise to the level of lack of consent, but is still an inappropriate use of power.

Based on what are you making this proclamation? You state that as if it is an established fact, like the Earth is round or something.

Cite some support for your conclusion.

I have read tons of the psycho-socio-pathology of rape literature, and there is disagreement on whether the motivation is violence, power or a combination of violence and power. Most authors and those who study rape agree that sexual desire is not a factor. However, the motivation for raping is not something that can be proved in the way say, the melting point of ice can be proved. Yet you emphatically state you know the anwer, cite nothing to support your contention other than the bare conclusion itself followed by, AND HERE'S THE KICKER "and that's that."

Well, that sure convinced everyone.

Barbi Benton Beav Style Poll

This talk of barbi Benton got me to thinking...

When exactly did the "less pubes" thing become the new style? I was looking through some images of old playmates and noticed the following trend:

70s:
- Disco mitt

Early 80s:
- Disco mitt

Mid/Late 80s:
- Thick landing strip

Early 90s:
- Thinner landing strip

Mid 90s:
- Thin landing strip

Late 90s/Early 00s:
- Bald/Hitler stash*/super thin landing strip

How do these styles change? Does Playboy decide? It seems like all chicks shift styles at once and the styles last for roughly 5 years, just like designer jeans or b grade sitcoms. How do chicks know what's "the new style"?

Where does it go next?

S("Hey Ann, how do you style your beav? Well, Mary, I go with the landing strip. Really? I prefer the Hitler.")D

* This is never attractive.

Sorry. My fault.

I think that, ever since I sat and listened to the head of NOW explain why Clinton's use of his intern's mouth was perfectly acceptable, the concept that power has nothing to do with consent wakes my argument-instincts right the hell up.

Well go back and read it again shit for brains. I describe a completely consensual situation and detect an element of sex is power in it, and then the genius known as ABBAKiss calls me a rapist.

I then point out that rape is when there is no consent and violence, and argue that a fully consensual situation where there is an element of sexual power is not a rape because there is consent, and then shit for brains you thinks that means power = consent.

OK paigow, you can have your board back. Although flames won't chase me away, sheer stupidity will.

Reading Tyrone's lame ass Slate.com and Salon.com articles sure beats arguing with morons.

You just agreed with me. I never said power is an element of rape, or that all rape is motivated by power. I said that you are wrong that power has nothing to do with rape.

When you said you enjoy the power you feel when having sex with your boyfriend, it sounded like a *wannabe* rapist to me.

Like what you were calling Slave.
