Hellooooooo? Is anybody home?
I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the river outside my office is PACKED with kayakers.

Question for Non-Kayakers

Now that the Giro is over, I have a month before the next daily coverage bike race.

Aside from The Amazing Race, what else is there to watch?

So, what of it? Are y'all busier these days then you were, say, six months ago? If so, are you buying stock? I'm about ready to jump back into the market in a big way.

I am much busier. It started picking up for me late last year and I've been really busy the last three months. Transactional practice.

Water is so late 1990s.

And of course, this line is so late May 2003.

I guess I am late 90s.

That is a good poll though, what does everyone tend to drink (non alcoholic.)

I actually rarely buy anything but water. When I am not too lazy I brew a big pitcher of iced tea, but I don't know the last time i bought a two litre bottle of soda, and I pretty much just drink water, I use one of those Brita filter pitchers.

Damn uppity women, avoiding responsibility for terrorism and whatnot. They're just throwing their pants in the face of everything that's good and decent.

Other than coffee, the occasional OJ, and green tea, I only drink water. Boring, maybe, but soft drinks are empty calories, and diet soda is a crime against humanity.

Although, on a hot day, an icy Coke is great, particularly if you are in Mexico or the Caribbean, and the Coke is sweetened with sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup. It's a taste sensation!

We're a Brita family too--just to get rid of the chlorine. Magnus also drinks home-delivered organic non-homogenized 2% milk (Ollie, let me know if you want the info for this guy--it's great stuff, especially the chocolate milk) and Knudsen's organic apple and pear juices. I almost never order a drink of any kind in a restaurant, and even on planes I drink ice water.

I'm late 90s too. I drink mostly water. mostly put of the tap, but every now and again I splurge and buy the water with bubbles in it. All natural fruit juices add variety every now and then.

I'm addicted to Coca-Cola. Was up to 4 or 5 a day, but now that I've found my waist again I must stay away from it. No, I can't have just one.

.
Iced tea (decaf). I brew a big pot (lobster-pot sized) every few days and pour it into old juice jars for refrigeration. Fresh mint (appearing now in the garden) improves it greatly.

Diet Dr Pepper is another favorite.

I am a water girl. We get water home delivered, and I highly recommend it. My secret addiction is evian.

When I am out, I drink club soda with lime.

I often dump emer'gen'c into my water or club soda if I need a little pick me up. I have been caffeine free for five or six years.

I used to drink Diet Coke like a fish, but I gave it up and don't miss it at all. I drink a lot of water. Some coffee but not much. Mineral water, but then my MIL pointed out that seltzer tastes better, and now I tend to agree. And I also picked up these Santa Cruz Organic Lemonades -- sweet, but good. Expensive, but on sale near me of late.

Gee, they're sure not trying to send any subliminal messages with that label, are they? Maybe our old friend lactation lover will switch to lemonade now.
