I figured out that "crural" means "of or relating to the thigh or leg; specifically : FEMORAL <crural artery>"

but I'm still not sure what intercrural sex is. Mushing it between his own thighs in some weird kind of masturbation? Rubbing thighs with someone but not involving genitals?

I suppose you could always just do it in your trash can if you're really that concerned that those you work with would illegally discriminate against you for being pregnant (which I believe is what you were implying with that statement, but YMMV, FWIW). Oh, and NTTAWWT.
I believe you. I also believe that pregnant women are usually in fact discriminated against, even if not overtly.

Danny Bonaduce

So I'm at home on Labor Day, getting ready to go out and I see Danny Bonaduce on a talk show! How in the hell does this guy keep getting talk show deals? Pretty funny though - he had a thing called "Love Court" where a judge told this couple that the guy (or was it the girl) should be allowed to meet the other's parents. Apparently it was a big deal for one of them, they had been dating for a year and one was anxious to meet the parents of the other - the other didn't think they were "ready."

In other news...new show with former child actors - Barry Williams (Greg on “The Brady Bunch”), Danny Bonaduce (Danny on “The Partridge Family”), Dustin Diamond (Screech from “Saved By the Bell”), Leif Garrett (teenage heartthrob singer of “I Was Made for Dancin”’) and Corey Feldman (Mouth from “The Goonies.)
All five play themselves as poker buddies in the new David Spade comedy “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star,” offering advice to the fictional kiddie star.

Mickey D's lawsuit

NEW YORK, Sept. 4 — For a second time this year, a federal judge threw out a lawsuit Thursday that alleged McDonald’s misled consumers into believing its food was nutritious and part of a healthy diet. In that ruling, he said, consumers “cannot blame McDonald’s if they, nonetheless, choose to satiate their appetite with a surfeit of supersized McDonald’s products.” “If a person knows or should know that eating copious orders of supersized McDonald’s products is unhealthy and may result in weight gain ... it is not the place of the law to protect them from their own excesses,” Sweet wrote at the time.

Whether in the office or at home, Bulimia is a very personal and private lifestyle choice that is nobody's business but one's own. I'm sure everyone's thinking 'oh there goes str8 being funny and/or trying to get people riled up.' Wrong-o, buster. I often overeat, and to make myself feel better, ON RARE OCCASION, make the conscious informed decision to purge some of the food on which I've pigged out. I don't think it causes me any ill effects; my height and weight are pretty proportional and I have no health problems of which to speak. So barf away, paigow.

On the 15th annual Thurgreed Breasicle day, please submit a picture of your teeth. I'm interested whether regular vomiting really does fuck up the enamel. It would be helpful if you could take a "before" picture now-ish.

Recaling great 80's cinema:

Moving from good 80's movies to bad recent ones. even though Kelly McGillis is still married, she seemed very comfortable playing a cut-rate Catherine Trammel in The Monkey's Mask. Sometimes when you're in Europe. and it's uncomfortably hot, you see movies that you're pretty sure will suck just because (1) the theatre's air conditioned and (2) the film is in English.

They were all in vitro. (You know, testicular cancer and all).

Competitive cyclists are typically riding 5-6 days a week. They eat, ride, eat, and sleep.

I think that Lance probably averages 450 miles a week for a year.

Do I think he rides 365 days a year? No. He probably takes a dozen or so days completely off and then there are active rest days.

Notwithstanding any of that, I don't think the number of kids he has sired has any correlation to the amount of sex he is/was having (or his stamina during sex). His kids were conceived through artificial insemination from his sperm that was stored from before he had chemo. Is this not common knowledge?

He made his sperm donation pre-chemo. They met immediately post-chemo. Otherwise, it could have been incredibly romantic.

Edited to add from the OM: one of Lance's teammates rides 20,000 miles a year, so Lance rides easily that much if not more. This is not the guy you'd want to have as an SO, until after he retires.

Doesn't have to be. I tutor a girl in middle school and am pretty amazed at what 6th-8th grade girls wear to school. Lots of skin. Their mothers send them off with overshirts that are abandoned in lockers. No wonder the YMCA Teen Clinic woman hands out condoms by the handful like popcorn (although I continue to be perplexed that she dispenses Magnum XXL ones -- I thought they were for exceptionally well-endowed men -- how many boys in school need them?).

Remember Jelly Belly jelly beans? A jar of which no less a personage than Ronald Reagan kept on his desk? Well, they haven't been resting on their laurels -- oh, no. They've been in product development for beans based on Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans from the Harry Potter books --- "every flavor" in this case being limited to Sardine, Black Pepper, Dirt, and Vomit.

This is not the interesting part. The interesting part is that the Vomit flavor isn't new. It's a rebranding of an ill-fated Parmesan Pizza flavor from several years ago. Who knew? The next time I TUIMMALB, I'll let you know if I get any sense of Parmesan Pizza.

Meanwhile, their most popular flavor is Buttered Popcorn. WTF?

It depends on your technique. If you only puke in bathroom sinks, inappropriate. If you're adept at yaking in a disposable container, have at it.

Apparently you don't frequent too many kid-oriented places. They've been selling the Bertie Botts beans (from one of those giant gumball machines) at the Diva family's favorite toy store for at least a year now. I haven't yet gotten up the nerve to try them.
