June 10 — Will Madonna fall into the Gap? Lest it be said that the cutting-edge fashionista is no longer a force in the world of clothes, Madonna is close to signing a deal to do television commercials for the Gap, her spokeswoman tells The Scoop.
THE MATERIAL GIRL — who was once known for her Gautier pointed bras — will appear wearing corduroy jeans alongside rapper Missy Elliott.
She’s already scheduled to shoot the ads in Los Angeles later this month, though her spokeswoman says that there are some last-minute details to work out before the contract is signed.
“We’re moving forward on it,” says Madonna’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, “but it’s not a done deal.”

My wife also has had good results with these. I tried them but I just couldn't stand having them on my teeth for half an hour. I'm currently trying the Colgate Night Whitening gel. That's the one you paint onto your teeth before bed. I'll give a review in a couple weeks.

I'm assuming that this is some jab at me since I am living for the moment in an riverside apartment complex on the [shudder] Jerzey side of the Hudson.

But in the rare instance that it isn't, let me make this clear.

The RANGERS are the home team. RANGERS. AS in, the Cablevision-owned, MSG-playing, highest payroll, Lindros-carrying, Better-be-#35-retiring, Larry Robinson-hiring Broadway Blueshirt Rangers.

The Devils are a despised local rival, akin to the Flyers and I-holes. Nothing more.

Ergo, much as I "root root root for the" team-playing-the-Mets-today, I'll root for almost anyone when playing the Devils.

It's on a piece of plastic, so it adheres to your teeth. I have used it and it works beautiully. It's just irritating to wear for 30 minutes.

Want to be famous? As in life's goal to be on the cover of the Rolling Stone? Not really.

Would accept if the circumstances were right? Sure. But I'd want to be famous for something that I'm proud of. I certainly don't want to be famous because of a screw up or something stupid.

The Crest strips are on flexible pieces of plastic. The Colgate stuff dries pretty quick so lip contortions are optional.

sunless tanning update
 

This morning I used the Neutrogena self-tanner for face on my legs and they have turned a bearable shade of ivory (as opposed to the slightly blue shade they were yesterday). No streaks or patchiness, which is good because I am wearing a short skirt for the first time this year. I would recommend.
