I enjoyed TAR - try it.

I have now watched the two Martha episodes and (no spoilers) found it interesting to see how they tried to make it different. she is softer (sort of), more verbal, more approachable, and less pompous (but not by much). Otherwise, the formula is pretty similar and I am not sure I care enough top watch continously.

Good news. Refs were wrong per the Ohio High School Athletic Association. USA Today article:

His coach (and probably his parents too) deserve medals for encouraging him to play.

Contreras and Freddy G both have the physical stuff to be staff aces. It's their heart and head, respectively, which is worrisome.

I've seen Contreras pitch under pressure in NY - I'd get really , really drunk before watching his playoff start.

I watched Jose pitch the first half of the season. It was frightening.

West Wing: Wife's show. She seems happy with it, but that's just because Leo McGarry gives her a femi-woody. A-?

I'll add others if I can think of them. The basic cable season is over, but if you weren't watching "Rescue Me" (F/X) or "Teachers" (BBCA) or "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" (F/X), you missed out, sucka.

Rescue Me rawks! I thought I was the only fan here. I cant decide if my favorite lines were the tutorial on what kind of sexual behavior with an ex, sister, widow, etc is okay and what isnt. The golden rule of drunkenness, Or the line where Denis leary and his brother are staking claim to which Jackson they are. Great show, except for the montage bullshit at the end of every show

Speaking of tv- my TIVO picked up ANTM instead of Martha last night. Is the Apprentice Martha worth watcing at this point? I have already bailed on the Donald one, giving up several episdoes after Bloated Slave departed.
