"Slutty" is a term of endearment. Sluts should be placed on a pedastal. Where we can confirm that they are wearing no underpants.

No idea who Slade is or what that song sounds like. And I'm too lazy at the moment to iTune it.

And not like I have a favorite Cher song ... but if I did, that's not it. Oh well. C'est la vie, to quote that guy in the 80s whose hair was too long but still got a hit song from it.

If someone were to come up with an alternative yet funny name for "Brokeback Mountain" that refers to homosexuality. Now that would be funny.

I heard that in Iceland a child's "last name" is based upon the parent's first name. Like say if your real name was "Pretty Flower," your son Joe, would be Joe Prettysen, and your daughter Molly would be Molly Prettydahtir.

I don't know if that was historic and no longer true, but that would really make it confusing to know who you're related to. Also, that would mean everyone's last name would end in "sen" or "dahtir", unless you were an immigrant.

Plus the whole thing might not be true- I get the feeling people lie to me all the time.

edit "dottir" not "dahtir"

In the 19th century, we saw many people with strange naming conventions coming into the country, but luckily most of them came in to the north. Sometimes we had to give them names when they came in. When we gave them a name, it usually described them, and then we'd make it sound like where they were from. Someone who was Polish, for example, and who was bald, we'd name Baldinski. Of course, it was quite common to mix up Mongolia and China in those days.

Slade is a Scottish heavy metal bandd from the 70s. They did Cum on Feel the Noize. They're famous for pioneering the use of phonetic spelling in music, stemming from their lead singer's illiteracy.

Quiet Riot did a cover. Slade did it first.

Slade also did "Mama, weer all crazy now" before Quiet Riot covered it.

You just love horns in rock, don't you. You're almost as gay as Coltrane. You two should go on a gay vacation together, driving across the country in a big mauve RV, visiting free range ostrich farms, taking ballroom dance lessons, and eating lots of sushi, esp. California Rolls. That would be just perrrrrrrfect for you two! Be sure to send lots of gay postcards!

You might not want to believe this, but I heard that TM and some dude in a kilt were seen making out during the screening of Brokebutt Mounting. However, my source is prone to fits of delusion (he said Picasso was diddling a turnip the other day), so take it with a grain of salt.

I'm a "power bottom" and Coltrane seems like a "passive top." We'd never agree on who gets to drive the RV let alone where to go, or what movies to see.:(

I warned Penske and Thurgreed that Runaround Hank was a kiss-and-tell type, but they didn't listen. I guess that's what happens when you try to climb up Downlow Mountain with the wrong cowpoke.
