Just read this to see how nicely Sebby's arguments coincide with conservative talking points. Lots of conservatives are saying all sorts of things in manifest bad faith. Sebby is saying the same things. I can't say (and doubt) he is saying things in bad faith. I think it's likelier that he sees this crap being mainstreamed in the media ("the media") and thinks it is underrepresented in the discourse here.

My problem here is with the majority of the media’s rush to judgment.

I guess we fell into discussing whether there is any material evidence being withheld as part of the discussion of whether that majority of the media had good reason to prejudge.

I think they are absolutely trying to hide the full report because it contains embarrassing and damaging information about Trump and the administration. I want the entire report to come out, out of personal curiosity, if nothing else. And I think all of the report will eventually come out.

The friction in the discussion right now is in trying to determine how much of an Exoneration this report provides to Trump. It seems to me he can claim some measure of exoneration. I don’t know how much exactly. Similarly, the majority of the media deserves some level of opprobrium. How much? I’m not sure.

You’re right that we won’t know the exact answer to either question until the report is released.

I said it’s highly unlikely they are hiding anything that would make Barr’s summary of Mueller’s report inconsistent with the material findings of Mueller. If you think Barr has said Trump did not collude or engage in obstruction and Mueller actually found he did one or both, you’re in Crazytown. Don’t go to Crazytown.

We already know he obstructed justice. He did it in the fucking open. He publicly stated that he fired Comey because of the investigation. He fired Sessions because he recused himself. He asked for his own guy to be put in place at the SDNY. I believe there is lots of evidence showing this in the report. I'd like to see it.

Barr auditioned for this job because he believes, fundafuckingmentally that the President cannot obstruct justice. Trump got the message loud and clear and installed him. And guess what? Barr has concluded Trump didn't obstruct justice. It's a complete joke.

It is so obvious that there is enough in that report--re collusion and obstruction--to impeach this asshole and charge him with obstruction (you know, if you believed that a sitting President could be guilty of obstruction) that the White House, Barr and the entire Republican Party do not want to be held accountable for not being involved in doing so.

Your rants about what the media (again, not a monolithic entity) "implied" by reporting on the actual comings and goings of this criminal fucking Administration are pure ether above the clouds. Maybe you can't separate the opinion pieces and talking heads from the actual reporting.
